@Adamjcmyhill@UnrealEngine I have to say I was very impressed with your system. i saw it on Unreal Engine YT video presentation. I will be getting your plugin for my game for sure.
@whojumpr@VictoriorCG@HumbleGeek2@higgsfield@higgsfield_ai as with everything else.. overhyped slop.. building a game takes far more than typing to LLM. But hey, now naive folks can burn more money with double the token cost Fable 5.
@NehraWorkss decades of professional software that unfortunately runs only on Windows and Mac and massive market share of users. And no, emulation isn't the solution.
@The_One_Boom 1. multplayer fan != COD fan.. that's your first mistake in deduction.
2. COD became shitty Fortnite and huge number of players who played COD don't want to play Fortnite
that's the issue.. "content creators" and streamers really destroyed any notion of fun and exploration in the game. They made it a job for views and everything they care about is content so they can keep people watching.. It has utterly demolished gaming.
Devs have to stop catering to these people. They should absolutely not be the focus of any development roadmaps.
@xFleXy_ I think you shouldn't worry, they will steal everything from BF6 and possibly Arc Raiders mechanics they can and go back to gritty feel in MW4. Lord knows they made enough money with trash they've been sellign so far. If they don't this franchise is done.
I did/am, I got a badge or something in-game for it.. I love BF6 so much I bought a PS5 copy as well.. so I'm playing it now on PS5 with crossplay off and mouse and keyboard and it's night and day difference in a good way.
My question for you is about PS5, I'm running it on performance right now to get snappy mnk, is it worth getting PS5 Pro to get 4k on it so I can run it in balanced and have nice snappy response and better visuals. Would you say upgrading to PS5 Pro is worth it from technical standpoint knowing the engine?
I've fixed it really.. I switch to PS5 Pro with mouse and keyboard.. the expeirence of the game is NIGHT AND DAY.. best purchase I've made.. hooked it up to my main PC 32" 4k 144hz monitor.. runs at 4k 120hz beautifully, mouse and keyboard is super snappy and nice and cronus or not, cross play off = fun playing the game..
You will actually see how bad cheating really is on PC once you try it in on console where they can't really manipulate the memory injection and even if they do modding of the console that's sooooo rare that it's a non-issue because nobody wants to lose $700 being caught and banned.
This game is best to be played on a console hands down and PS5 specifically beacuse of crossplay off feature.
@TaskForceNews 4 to me is max. It looks cool but on the border. i am fine with that type of styling for premium skins, battlepass and unlock skins.. anything beyond that is starting to be too much.
100% as some said.. gamers as a community will always be negative about things.. BF6 is a fantastic game and super addictive. In 20+ years of BF i’ve played this one feels like major step forward like BF 2 felt and thats a great thing,
The game clearly needs balancing but i understand this as developing in silos even with playtests its very hard to see issues until community plays it.
With this being said, knowing DICE this is a glorious beginning to a stellar base game. It will just better and better in the comings weeks and months.
They are even fixing cheating and while we had about a week and a half of cheater infestations since the latest update Javelin seems to be cleaning them out VERY quickly and i have seen people getting banned within my games as soon as i reported. This is all great news.
now you know why Microsoft/Activision are paying content creators sh*t on BF6 and most likely helping cheat makers crash their anti-cheat.. there is a reason suddenly a few days before the launch of their sh*t new COD, BF6 cheats are out everywhere.
they know the writing is on the wall and billions and billions of dollars are on the line here and they will do anything even if criminal to prevent it. It's disgusting. There should be an investigation and if true legal and criminal charges against Microsoft/Activision. This a violation of multiple laws if they had ANYTHING to do with it.
They are disgustingly evil and anti-consumer through and through.
it's not about KD.. I don't even fly and I can see huge issues with the game overall.. recoil/spread is still not solved, cheating is out of control which is something @SilkOCE doesn't really experience.. I'm rank 120 and have been grinding the game from start.. it's really bad right now..
It also doesn't help they increased aim assist for controllers so now they have less issues with recoil/spread and 2 tap you to the head with very little effort.
The updates they've done to the game are not working and made it worse. And I"m not a k/d player.. I'm an objective player. Between cheaters, bugs and other issues right now the game is absolutely not enjoyable to play.
@SilkOCE the whole game is in a horrible state.. cheaters have completely taken over. I'm actually considering refunding the game even if it takes legal action. For $100 I paid this is unacceptable.
Activision didn’t do shit. It was all PR. Cheating is very solvable, it should simply be done now with a mix of secure boot processes and AI behavioral analysis that uses properly trained models to identify inhuman behavior and its game over. But that requires money and they are not currently incentivized legally to solve this if they want to sell their games.
Um.. I actually got a badge and thank you from EA in the email and in-game for identifying cheaters in BF6 there are tons of them.. however to be real so far they show up and then it drops off quick. So Javelin seems to be actually pretty effective overall in curb-stomping them fairly quick unlike that garbage Ricochet that was always a bullet point on a box so they don’t get sued. And I will be honest here, we need to push for laws that if they are releasing triple A games for $70-$100 I expect cheaters free experience. No other product or service is off the hook for this, only triple A game publishers. Maybe that will make them invest actual resources into quality anti-cheats.
