@kaajukatlee@grok@grok calculate the carbon footprint of building a bridge like this and then additionally an estimated carbon footprint of trucks and cars travelling back and forth on such a bridge.
@AaronCook18403@Truth_matters20 It’s observation of how things work, not blind faith. To extrapolate meaning from an interpretation of written text is blind faith.
@gremlincoder@Truth_matters20 Especially when Genesis states that these people lived for hundreds of years. IMO this is either symbolic of the status of the person or a message that these people were better, more deserving people than us.
@NevskyDialectic@Truth_matters20 It’s about the lineage of the people in the bible. In Genesis it goes through the lineage of these people and how long they lived, the children they had and how long they lived etc. someone added it all up and comes up with this number. If wrong the lineage is questionable.
@Jean_Renault_@duolingo@NoContextBrits Soccer is an English word that the US now uses, but we rarely do any more. Association Football is a type of football, just as Rugby Football is and American Football is.
@Michael26237@lancevideos@NoContextBrits@duolingo Look at the dialect of those from Newcastle or Edinburgh compared to those of Essex. There is great diversity in the English language and the US is just an extent of that.
@Time4Restore@tag4UK@DebbieThornhil4 Unfortunately, it is rather difficult these days to live on a single wage whilst purchasing a house and providing a decent life for children.
