After years of development, I'm excited to share the Research Project Compass with you!
The Compass is a visual project planning framework that helps structure research projects from the initial question through to execution.
Useful for students & PIs!

@ItaiYanai This doesn't reflect my experience. AI lets me be more creative and get more rounds of iteration, faster, even in even in a medium I may not have skill, making me less constrained and dependant on someone else.
@nimivashi15@elonmusk@SpaceX I can see the entire biomanufacturing industry reaching 1T, but a trilicorn suggests that they've unlocked a product line of that value thats not currently available (any manufacturing companies reach trillion dollars today?).
@nanogenomic@bjing2016 So is the recommendation to use both and take the candidates that pass both Boltz & Promera filters to experimental testing?
This term I taught a first-of-its-kind course on #syncells@CalPolyCSM: undergrads built synthetic cells from scratch & contributed original experiments from day one. We'll share all materials and results openly, stay tuned. Thankful to @schmidtsciences and the students who made it possible! https://t.co/RTAK5aZtt4
@KevinKaichuang@SuJinyan6 Give the Research Project Compass a try, it can help align everyone on the project. You can even prompt your agent to help fill it out :)
(I have an AI assisted walk-through if you want to try it also)
Congratulations to Chris and Bella for graduating from @CalPolyCSM!
They made such important contributions to our group's work and being positive role models for the younger students!
Thanks to @NikoMcCarty for the books!
