In a bitter sweet moment, I joined the guests, including several friends from the diplomatic fraternity, to bid farewell to Prof @Sachin_Chat as he completed eight fruitful years as Director-General of @RIS_NewDelhi, the premier think tank with which I was briefly associated with as the Chairman from May-September 2017.
The organisation gained momentum and strength under his able stewardship. Wished him success as he now takes charge as the Vice-Chancellor of @nalanda_univ and hands over the baton of RIS to Prof Sachin Kumar Sharma who has rich experience in international trade policy, with expertise in WTO negotiations, agriculture and food subsidies, market access, trade disputes, and South-South Cooperation.
I wished him the best for a successful tenure ahead.
