I can see that the chance of sampling error or a bad image is higher with US than CT, but that really changes the question to what's better - a subpar US or a good CT.

@emergencypdx What specific weights/BMIs (high or low) trigger you to not prescribe DOACs? Any other populations that you avoid DOACs in if considering discharge from the ED?

Melatonin (usually 2-3mg), only if I have another night shift to follow.
