@RepGregMurphy@GmOrr9000 Here goes the “freedom party” yet again limiting people’s freedom and liberty to pursue their own business practices and careers.
@IM_Crit_@msiuba@ThinkingCC I’ve entirely stopped participating in #FOAM here and I haven’t seen the critical care chats we used to have in a long time. I log in and only see far right propaganda and bots selling ads or liking my old posts. Time to move on.

Today is National Voter Registration Day! Take a few minutes to visit https://t.co/V3uLF7XRqt and make sure you’re registered and have a plan to vote. Then check in with your friends and family and make sure they’re registered, too. Let’s get it done.
Smallest club mentality in all of football. Cheering their team on to lose a few months ago to losing a third home match in a row to the Arsenal. To dare is to lose. #NorthLondonDerby#TOTARS
@DayToDae@DanSchneierNFL That’s what I’m saying. And both receivers are at the same depth so there’s no options here. Both receivers are triple teamed and the RB is covered by the LB. There no multiple levels of attack or utilizing space within zone.
Relaxed potassium supplementation (threshold 3.6 mEq/L) post-CABG surgery is noninferior to tight control (4.5 mEq/L) in preventing atrial fibrillation after cardiac surgery, potentially reducing costs & patient risks. https://t.co/rPSfoaORbl

@Stevezitelli@nickmmark An ED RN was telling her colleagues this was the “new thing ICU is doing” and it’s saving everyone. I interjected hold up ain’t no one doing this anymore, multiple RCTs showed failure etc. They then said I’m part of “big pharma and Fauci” trying to silence Vit C & ivermectin 🙄😅
@davidcarr333 Definitely not ideal but at least EM is adept at building rapport and trust swiftly, and similar to ICU sees patients at their worst moments, and can help give that perspective to families or patients who may not have that insight. So our experience is valuable. Not easy place.
@davidcarr333 Agreed. In my intensivist role often am confronted with similar conversations during admits & rapid responses. While not ideal, and wish convos were sooner, on other hand at least CCM has experience with EOL discussions & in lieu of pal care can provide some guidance for pt/fam.
