If I had a penny for every time my name got launched into space, I'd have two pennies... 💸
Which is not a lot, but it is AWESOME that it happened twice! 🔥
✅ We've made contact with YAM-7! Stay tuned to @hydrosat’s page for mission updates. ⚡
YAM-7 carries the names of every team member at Loft and represents the work that has gone into building our space infrastructure. 🪩
🚀Go for launch! YAM-7 is launching on Transporter-11!
🛰 @HydrosatI's Van Zyl-1 is a dedicated mission, with thermal infrared imagers that provide insights into agricultural water management, monitor droughts, and support food security initiatives, playing a vital role in both commercial and civil government initiatives.
⚡ YAM-7 will also serve as another virtual mission-enabled satellite node in our space infrastructure. By abstracting away the hardware, and providing access to Sensing, Connectivity and Compute Resources, we support the development and deployment of AI applications in space.
Here’s to our incredible team for all of the hard work they do to make space simple.

Loft Orbital was founded in 2017 to shift a paradigm around space infrastructure. Since then, we’ve achieved many milestones in our mission to build the space infrastructure that lets any company, government or institution harness the benefits of space. These milestones include launching multiple satellites, establishing three global offices, and deploying over 10 missions across our infrastructure.
In the past year, we embarked on a slightly different kind of adventure to build a new brand identity to reflect our growth, where we are, and where we’re going. Today, we’re excited to unveil that new brand and website.

On va y arriver ! 😁
We’re excited to fly VanZyl-1, @HydrosatI's first mission, on YAM-7. We're launching NET July 10 on @SpaceX's Transporter-11.
Hydrosat’s VanZyl-1 is a dedicated mission, with thermal infrared imagers that provide insights into agriculture, aquaculture, drought, wildfire and urban heat for both commercial operations and civil government initiatives.

@kegrocket Obviously a great choice! Just like history shows, hybrid has all the advantages of solid with ABSOLUTELY NO inconvenient of liquid! 👌
Very good choice! 🚀
🐶 Today, we're introducing SatDogOps, a philosophy that enables our four-legged friends to deploy their missions in space!
We started removing friction to get to space with what we call SatDevOps, a set of practices, philosophies, and tools aimed at shortening the systems development lifecycle and providing continuous delivery with high-quality software.
Now, with SatDogOps, we can leverage a brand new set of skills like sit, shake, and roll over! 🐶
✅ We've made contact with YAM-6! We'll share more updates when we deploy customer missions. ⚡
One more thing: YAM-6 has a plate inscribed with our team's names and represents the work that has gone into building space infrastructure. 🪩
🚀 Ready for launch! YAM-6 is launching on Transporter-10 from Space Launch Complex 4 East in California.
YAM-6 is the first virtual mission-enabled satellite, and abstracts away the hardware by providing access to Loft-owned sensors and compute nodes that support AI. This is a revolutionary shift in the space industry: you don’t have to own a satellite, or even a payload, to operate in space.
Thank you to our incredible team for all of the hard work they do to make space simple.
