Proud of our health workers who are working hard to ensure that #Ebola does not spread to other parts of the country.
Witnessed the health workers at the isolation unit located at Bwera Hospital and I am proud of the work they are doing to contain this outbreak. Thank you teams!
The average Ugandan is most likely to be a young woman aged 15-29 -often, excluded from meaningful participation in peace processes. We are thus delighted by the appointment of our Research, Policy and Advocacy Officer @WanyanaR to the National Dialogue Coordinating Committee.
Welcome to the organising Committee of the #UgandaNationalDialogue#UNADICOT@RWanyana. Youth are involved at every level of the dialogue from where you are at the organising team, the Thematic Committees and eventually youth voices will be heard in the dialogue itself.
Day7 of the #7DayChallengeUganda!!! Made it. Breakfast was porridge with whole bread & some really delicious Ugandan natural jam. I got a ride to work from wife🤗. Then a green lunch for all the “challengers”! And then to end it, I will run back home at the end of workday. 👍🏿💪🏿
Left Harare this morning to return home after a two-day working visit, where I also was chief guest at the Zimbabwe International Trade Fair in Bulawayo. I thank His Excellency @EMnangagwa for the invitation and Zimbabweans for the hospitality.
Today, let us pay tribute to William Pike & James Tumusiime who started it all, the teams they worked with & those who today still keep @newvisionwire going & growing!!!
His Excellency the President interacting with leaders of the 250 Israeli tourists (at Chobe Safari Lodge) who visited Uganda recently. They are from the largest law firm in Israel. They have promised to market Uganda in Israel and bring many more tourists.
