Take your kid and sit next to him while he plays videos games. Instruct him on every move to make. Yell at him if he doesn’t react accordingly. Grab the controls and take over. See how much he enjoys it and wants to keep playing. That’s how so many youth are coached.
I believe many parents are getting development backwards. They are spending too much time/effort “preparing the path for their child” instead of “preparing the child for their path.” I get it, no one wants to see their child fail, yet failure is necessary for growth & success.
Remember when ESPN just gave you sports games, scores, and highlights and MTV actually played music videos? I swear to God that used to be a thing. It was a pretty good arrangement we had.

Do you blame teachers when you score poorly on a test even though you know you didn’t study as hard as you could’ve???
That’s like blaming a coach for not playing when you didn’t work as hard as you could’ve to EARN a spot.
ok bye

PITCH CALLING
No good reason to shy away from left on left or right on right change ups. It’s still a contrast pitch that helps you control the hitter’s end speed.
Still one of the best stories of my life here is a @PiersonGibis update Hey RJ I thought you’d appreciate knowing that I’ve already gained 10 pounds this summer and I’m really excited for the fall! My most recent scans came back all clean and I’ve been working with Brady Knudsen
To the kid that just maxed out 315 lbs... great job!
To the kid that just maxed out 225 lbs... great job!
To the kid that just maxed out 135 lbs... great job!
It’s not the weight amount but your work ethic that mean strength!!
It’s effort & progress that are impressive!!
How does Cody Bellinger hustle down the line but hs kids can’t seem 2 do it all the time. I watched multiple games this week & many kids don’t hustle. Also i just got a call from college recruiter asking about one of my guys & he mentions that my guy hit a gb & didn’t run it out
