While speaking at the Strategic Planning Retreat for the Health Ministry, Departments and Agencies happening at Statistics House, Ms @EmyChelangat informed participants that Communication interventions in the Strategic Plans will ensure that both the internal and external stakeholders understand the objectives, progress made, and their respective roles in implementing the plans, while fostering alignment and support.
She further emphasised that, for information sharing and stakeholder engagement to support the attainment of the strategic plans' goals, communication must be data-driven.

While closing the Health MDA Strategic Planning retreat at Statistics House, Prof. Pamela Mbabazi, the NPA Chairperson pledged that the Technical Report from the Retreat will be used to further engage key actors to support the health sector in delivering quality services to Ugandans. For instance, key issues for futher engagement include creation of planning units at the regional and specialized referral hospitals, and supporting health institutions to access and use digital technology to improve service delivery among others:-
