More drains blocked on Sliabh Beagh. These were done in February this year by @MonaghanHerita1 and @theCANNproject

Import blanket bog in the Eshbrack NHA. It literally looks like its been stitched back together.

Blanket bogs in good order provide high quality water that needs little treatment before entering the drinking water network. Those in poor condition release dissolved organic carbon into the water which causes brown water; removing this is costly for group water schemes.

Now you see them, now you don't. More conservation work visible from space. @shirleyclerkin @PSherlock1 and I commissioned contractors to remove invasive conifers from the entire blanket bog in the Sliabh Beagh SAC/ASSI for @MonaghanHerita1 and @theCANNproject

Wha you can see your conservation handy work from space. @PSherlock1, @MonaghanHerita1 and I got a contractor to block 1200 drains across 120ha of SAC bog in Fermanagh for the @theCANNproject keep the CO2 in the bog.
