Today we started a journey with QI Pads to provide free sanitary pads to school sick bays and clinics across the schools I visit during my tours. This initiative is driven by the pressing need to support students who unexpectedly start their periods, ensuring they don't have to resort to unsafe solutions or feel pressured to seek help from boys who might exploit their situation.

We began from St. Paul SS Nsangi during their MDD event, in collaboration with Kiromo Teenz. We provided the school nurse with 20 boxes of Qi Pads, guaranteeing that these essential items will be available free of charge only in the sick bay for any student in need.

It's heartbreaking to know that many day scholars and even boarding students face difficulties affording sanitary pads at critical times.

This partnership is our solution to that challenge, empowering young girls to continue their education without fear or disruption.

I'm incredibly proud of this and grateful to QI Pads for their support. Together, we are making a real difference, one pad at a time, and ensuring that every girl has the dignity and resources she deserves.
