@TedAPeters@MattHennessey This letter does not cheer falling birthrates. Suggesting DACA recipients may not be starting families despite a desire to do so, and pushing a policy soln. to remove perceived barriers to family formation seems profamily & distinct from the antinatalist hysteria implied by Matt

Very cool demonstration of ADC use for autoimmune diseases with healthy volunteer data. There are lots of ways to get creative in this space; this is just the beginning. I'm excited to watch as this paradigm gets tested in clinic. https://t.co/oISjrlBoy2

Interesting study showing RIP1ki can rescue GvHD effects in gut and prolong survival while maintaining GvL effects following allo-HCT.

I'm excited to see some more Polθi preclinical data. RP-3467 will be joining ATR4215 and IDE705 (now GSK) if RPTX gets IND approved this year.
Also curious to see what RP-1664 will target. Any guesses?
Next Wednesday (11/15), Repare will host a conference call and webcast to present the latest data from its ongoing preclinical programs, RP-1664 and RP-3467, a newly designated Polθ inhibitor. Tune in here: https://t.co/MIaIsE6Xd5
Want to hear a wild story about how our genome-wide search for #CRISPR editing #DNArepair factors led us to a new #splicing regulator that influences hundreds of alternative exons? Check out new #preprint from amazing postdoc Erman Karasu. 🧵incoming: https://t.co/NwwEYpwy0v
Excited to share the proof-of-concept for our new #RIPTAC technology @HaldaThera. We propose heterobifunctional SMs that inhibit essential proteins selectively in cancer cells by forming stable ternary complexes #biotech: https://t.co/c7fZeMe0T9
Bicycle Therapeutics $BCYC has just fired a shot-heard-round-the-world, threatening to disrupt a huge technology platform in the biotech industry.
Here's a play-by-play on David vs. Goliath, taking on antibody-drug conjugates!

@DuaneReadeSanta @drug_smolecules Interesting. Why do you say that? I wasn’t aware of any evidence for or against any specific mutation being included.
@MSollender@PDRennert CAR-T cells are plenty complicated, and we know precisely how Teff cells exert their cytotoxic effector functions.
Sakaguchi's thymectomy experiments were in 1969(!) and we still don't understand how Tregs work.
I'm interested to watch, but this is going to be tough.
Astra Zeneca just scrapped the development of their α-TSLP mAb #Tezepelumab for AD, but it's interesting to think about how this pathway might altered during #Tezepelumab treatment, which is continuing to be developed for other indications.
Kind of a mind-blowing finding published today in @ScienceMagazine:
Mice over expressing TSLP lose almost all of their adipose tissue.
Probably just another thermogenesis story, right? Think again...
https://t.co/tlVVXT36CT
The authors found that TSLP over-expression causes T cells to migrate to the sebaceous glands in the skin. There, they stimulate the hyper-secretion of calorie-rich sebum.
The mice are exuding energy from their pores, (and it shows) totaling ~15% of their total caloric intake.
