@tesla808kore@SawyerMerritt what is penalty for misuse? are you referring to the vehicle damage as the penalty? Hopefully Tesla also charges you for Supercharger repair (or require an insurance claim).
@tslaming Thank you for summary. Tesla Owners Austin posted a huge waste of time article. Normally I appreciate what they do but they owe me minutes of my life back for their crap post.
@NatJoJoKitty@JoeTegtmeyer I had a 1974 1/2 260Z. I don't know why they called it a "half-year."
Inline 6 with dual carbs, iirc.
Bumpers were substantially taller as a key visible difference over the skinny 240Z bumpers.
@AndrewN23827011@WinwithJim@skorusARK True. No hard cornering, mostly lower speed, lower heat generating, so less damage from potholes, suspension not over-stressed with only 2 passengers and luggage, much lighter than other Teslas. Can make tire rubber compound harder for longevity.
@markabernathy81@gregberberian@elonmusk@CJHandmer@SciGuySpace@SpaceX and like towing a trailer load of dirt and trashing the trailer (Falcon 2nd stage) every time and only returning the truck for reuse.
Starship will be orders of magnitude cheaper, even to fly a small payload.
Mona, a member of the Federation of the Blind, gave amazing testimony yesterday about @Tesla’s Cybercab after sitting in it this week:
"To have something like the Cybercab would be very beneficial to us as the blind community; It’s got Braille in there. Nobody else has Braille. This would be so beneficial. The app is wonderful. There’s space to put the wheelchair. They can just push themselves right in. A lot of times, the Uber and Lyft if they see you with a dog or cane, they drive right past you. With Cybercab, it doesn't know that you're blind. It doesn't know that you're in a wheelchair. It just knows that you need a ride, so I completely love the car. Just sitting in it, how comfortable it is, just knowing something is accessible - it’s the most amazing thing out there."
