@WingHongLaw Hi, I think that it is very normal to find that academic pressures can lead to a worse mood. School is known to cause stress for a lot of people. The key is to work hard and practice time management. #HKR1000
@mikhaileydiane Practicing a healthy diet may be very beneficial! Not only due to your lower moods caused by hunger, because I've also noticed that my moods are better generally when I eat healthy. Try it out, there's many benefits! #HKR1000
@natasha61815440 Hi, Ive also noticed in my review that exercise greatly improved my mental health. I think that for many people there is a great correlation between a healthy lifestyle and good mental health. #HKR1000
I've been able to identify times where I feel more stressed, and times where I'm less stressed. I've found that exercise has linked directly to my mood, when I find time to exercise, I generally have a better mood. For others, exercise may help you through tough times #HKR1000
@ZacharyNash7 I think that using the term "best" is quite subjective. Recordings may be better quality, but live versions generally have a much more fun atmosphere surrounding it. #MUS2011
@KatieMUN12 I agree, I think that people tend to get an attachment to particular artists. Then this attraction is what makes them prefer recorded songs more if they're by the original artist. For me, originals which are recorded are better than live covers. #MUS2011
@MacneilShelby I remember reading in the text about stretching. How small sessions a few times a week can have a great impact on health. As a student, it's difficult to remain really active, and stretching can be a great way to do some activity. #HKR1000
I agree with Wald's assessment. People value the original artists version of their songs more, and would sacrifice the environment around live music for records and listening to the original artist. Often, records have better quality, while live is good for atmosphere. #MUS2011
There are many different methods of training. This article tested interval training versus resistance training, which we've learned about this semester. They also speak of proteins relating to chapter 7. This test was performed on old and young.

@kaileyalana7 To your point about "keeping the listeners engaged", it does that very well. When people can connect on an emotional level to a song, they often get very attracted to it. Also, it makes the song more fun to sing along to, and sometimes, that's what makes songs popular! #MUS2011
@DavidPi08443483 I think that in his genre of music, using devices and methods such as the breaking voice really helps the listener share his emotion, and when people can connect to music through emotion, it often attracts them even more. #MUS2011
I think that Ray Charles used a breaking voice for multiple reasons. One being that since this type of music was becoming more and more popular, he wanted something to differentiate him and make his music unique. He also may have done it for emphatic purposes. #MUS2011
@CritchJessica Hi, in my opinion, this depends on who you ask. In general, a lot of the older population (which are unlikely to have many people in our class) value religion highly, while among young people it's less important. What some people value, others do not. #HKR1000
An interesting stat to look at is that only 65.31% of people in our class are practicing responsible eating. This can be explained easily though, since in university we often do not have the time to cook, or sometimes financial constraints only allow us to eat cheap food #HKR1000
@CraigWe67813575 As a child I also did the same thing. My MP3 player (or iPod as I got older) helped me greatly in getting through stress, but it helped with other things as well. For example, I was involved in sports, so my MP3 always allowed me to listen to pump-up music before games. #MUS2011
@MunEvan The point you make about accessing different types of music depending on your emotion/mood is very relevant to most people today. I know myself for example have a playlist on spotify for each major mood. Technological development in music has been great! #MUS2011
@megcurran15 Youtube has been a great example for many years now. Although they now have their subscription service, when I was a kid we used youtube to find new kinds of music all the time. #MUS2011
I can not say that tech such as the MP3 player affected my gender in any way, but it did effect my identity. Technologies such as these provided an easy way for me as a child to listen to music that influenced who I became as I grew older.

@CainesOriana I agree with this statement. Although, if other Country's music were to be taken away, we may be shielded from cultural trends that are happening elsewhere. Sometimes, the culture brought forward in foreign music is still important in Canada.
@CraigWe67813575 I also had a similar point, that artists are forced to stick with what got them famous. An example that I used was Paramore, who changed their sound in their last album, but were still successful. There's many examples of people finding success while changing it up #MUS2011
