Caveat emptor:
I have received 3 different messages over the past week from people saying that they saw a publication on Facebook where I supposedly advocated for a cryptocurrency investment in an interview with "Chude of Punch Newspaper."
First of all, @Chude does not work for Punch newspaper. I did record an episode of his podcast with him earlier this year, but at no point did the subject of cryptocurrency investment ever come up. You can view the entire interview yourself on his website: https://t.co/O5ZMYvMoRE.
Secondly, for the avoidance of doubt, I have NEVER invested in any cryptocurrency. If I did, I would NEVER tell anyone or advocate for it, for the same reason that I never use any of my platforms to promote betting, investment programs, healthcare products or paid political messaging.
I have nothing against cryptocurrency and I regularly use stablecoins like USDT as mediums of transfer and stores of value, but I do NOT treat crypto as an investment. I especially do not touch memecoins for whatever reason. Whoever is attempting to drive interest in a cryptocurrency by fraudulently associating it with my name should IMMEDIATELY cease and desist before I find you.
CHIOMA OKOLI vs ERISCO FOODS LIMITED / ERIC UMEOFIA
Chioma posted her review about Nagiko tomato Mix, a product manufactured by Erisco Foods, on Facebook and carried on with her day. Eric Umeofia or his company NEVER contacted her regarding it.
A week later, @EriscoOfficial tagged her to their post on Facebook discrediting her review. When people attacked her online, she wrote a second post to clarify herself and then tagged @EriscoOfficial, but they ignored her.
Emperor Eric Umeofia wrote a petition to his friend the IG of Police to arrest Chioma Okoli with no investigation whatsoever.
Nine days later, two policemen from Abuja and a policewoman from Lagos approached Chioma and her family at church and lured them to the station claiming that they had questions for her regarding a package she received. When they got there, they presented her with Eric Umeofia’s accusations, showed her the Facebook post, and wanted her to admit to running a crime syndicate that had been calling Eric on the phone to extort money from him!
Here's my theory, which even without evidence, I'm 99% sure is true:
Cardoso is making money off NGN speculation. He put out that fake news yesterday to temporarily bump the naira upward (which worked).
He went long at a time everyone is shorting the NGN, and he's cashed out.
Dear Govt official, do you research well before you come to me in less than two minutes I have destroyed your argument with facts that in April 2014 and April 2020 both President Jonathan and Buhari ordered the implementation of the Oronsaye report. All your long winded narrative na distraction. Next time I will not be Nice oooo.
In Nigeria, what a young man with internet access and a healthy amount of curiosity sees sitting down, a hundred decrepit old men standing atop palm trees cannot.
They instead get Ahmed Rufai Abubakar to send NIA field agents to go hunt for him in Accra.
We are all here now.
Ask president Tinubu didn’t he know he will implement the Oronsaye report before he created new ministries.
1. Marine and Blue Economy
Tourism
Art, Culture and the Creative Economy
Gas Resources
Steel Development
Finance and Coordinating Economy
I ask again with over 45 ministers was the president thinking of the Oronsaye report then???
