RFK Jr. just fired the entire U.S. vaccine committee.
He says they were corrupt.
But here’s what he didn’t tell you… 🧾💰

There is a new platform, Sci-Net (https://t.co/SPy41cSJP5) where researchers can help each other by providing paywalled papers. The platform builds upon Sci-Hub meme token $scihub to reward active members.
Proud to have contributed to @JiaxuanQi's masterpiece out @Nature! She shows dopamine transients track the quality of song during juvenile song learning and that dopamine release is driven not just by VTA firing, but by a local cholinergic mechanism! https://t.co/D16ebPe3vP
The primary reason universities aren't fighting for their research enterprises is that they are feckless cowards. But the OTHER reason is that research, like education, is a money-losing front for their real business: building expansive real estate empires.
I'm no mathematician, but I do know this: 99% is a hell of a lot bigger than 1%.
Together, the American people can defeat Trump's advances toward authoritarianism and create an economy that works for all of us, not just the billionaire class.
this is actually fucking jaw-dropping. while trump cuts programs you need to live, he’s turning the white house into a car dealership to advertise his unelected shadow president’s failing company. dystopian levels of corruption
lotta “I stand up for science when someone comes for my grants, but won’t stand up for my students and colleagues when my university scapegoats them and tries to quash their right to political speech and their academic freedom” going around

We’re told that rural America doesn’t like progressive ideas.
Not what I saw today at our great rally in Altoona, WI — population 9,200.
People here, and across the country, understand that health care is a human right, and our economy must work for all, not just the few.
Great rally in Kenosha.
4,000 people came out to say:
NO tax breaks for billionaires.
NO cuts to Medicaid.
NO oligarchy.
NO authoritarianism.
NO MORE billionaires buying elections.
We wrote a recipe book for academics who want to build small antiracist communities. While we don't have all the answers, we think this is incredibly important for the current moment.
A letter that my colleagues and I wrote regarding the installation of a U.S. military base in the Galápagos Islands has been published in @ScienceMagazine. This decision is unconstitutional, as it violates multiple articles of the Ecuadorian Constitution, which recognizes nature as a subject of rights and guarantees its right to exist, maintain its vital cycles, and preserve its structure, functions, and evolutionary processes. The establishment of a military base not only undermines the Constitution and Ecuador’s sovereignty but also sets a dangerous precedent for violating international treaties designed to protect globally significant ecosystems.
