Today I became an American citizen 🇺🇸.
America has indeed been good to me. I came to this country on the invitation of a Fortune 500 company to lead technology innovation, got promoted to become a Director within 3 years (show me another country where a young black woman can do that in 3 years), married the most incredible man as a husband, to birthing the most inspiring princess, owning properties worth millions of dollars, owning multiple companies and living daily in a society that allows me dream, actualize the dreams and help others do the same.
It takes courage to leave everything you know and move somewhere else to restart life all over. Courage it has taken as I moved from Nigeria to Finland to Canada and to the US. None of these moves have been easy and every step of the way, I have done them all knowing that my dreams are valid.
The idea of an American dream is valid and I’m a living proof. To every immigrants on their journeys, don’t stop until you get what you seek. It’s possible!
“FORBIDDEN LOVE”
(The Story Of Nigerians ‘Troosted’ General)
This is not the typical from grass to glory story of most footballers as he was born in Harlem, Netherlands to a Nigerian father from Akwa Ibom and a Dutch mother.
As a kid, he loved football but it was a forbidden love that led to a serious friction in his family between his parents.
He simply refused to give up on his love and it had serious consequences.

When there is zero repercussions for mis-behaviour, human beings get very emboldened to repeat it and do even far worse.
What many of you describe as “dramatic” is nothing but textbook demonic emotional manipulation.
You know it. You endure it.
You wish the person will do better.
But you are only too spineless to deal with it.
Well, one day you will realise being weak is not “cute”, it is you just being a stupid doormat for others to piss on.
As you get older, you realize that the quality of people in your life is more important than the sheer number of people in your life.
No be everybody suppose be your friend
The first problem with this view is the assumption that there’s a problem with spending Christmas alone.
There are many people who have to spend Christmas alone- by choice or even by circumstances beyond their control. There’s absolutely nothing wrong with that.
“Spending Christmas alone just indicates poor social skills” is exactly the kind of ill-thought silly reasoning that makes people start to think something is wrong with their lives when there may be absolutely nothing wrong.
This is how many people embark on a journey to a place of mental self-destruction because some clown on twitter set a foolish standard they are trying to live up to.
Whether you are alone or not during Christmas, pls stay happy and glad enjoying every minute of it. That’s what counts. Always remember this.

Can someone explain why Africa sends its valuable raw materials and minerals to China to be transformed and sold back, instead of doing the value added in Africa; especially when millions of Africans are unemployed or under-employed?
