Words spoken by statesmen some more than six decades ago concerning Southern Cameroons, that today sound like prophecy, because we see them coming to pass. Indeed Falsehood can never thwart Truth.

In 1959, Clement J. Zablocki(D.WI). USA, Fmr Chairman of House Foreign Affairs Committee, speaking at the 896th UN General Assembly said “ …the results of a hurried choice imposed on the population of the Trust Territory would be catastrophic for their political future”.

In 1961, the UN General Assembly voted “Yes” to the Independence of former British Southern Cameroons.

In 1961, Dag Hammarkjold( UN Secretary General). 1953-1961; said “Uniting the Southern Cameroons to the Cameroun Republique is like forcing a balloon under the sea. One day it will come out”.

In 2019, fmr Ambassador Tibor Nagy tweeted “ We all know how Southern Cameroons crisis will end. Anglophones will gain their rights-either in a genuine Federation or a break away State. Whether weeks, months, years or decades- it will come. Human spirit- like the Lions- is indomitable! Cam Govt should come to its senses”.

A Solemn Public Appeal to the President of the United States of America, President Donald J. Trump; by Christian American Citizens of Southern Cameroons also known as Ambazonia origin and members of Friends Of Ambazonia Inc. They are calling for the Recognition of the Former British Southern Cameroons as an independent country and an End to the humanitarian crisis.

This desperate move is because the world seems to be silent while a genocide is going on in Southern Cameroons after the world had said never again after Rwanda. On November 30th, 2017, President Paul Biya of Republic of Cameroun declared war on the unarmed peaceful people of Southern Cameroons who are majority christians. He revealed to the world during Mo Ibrahim's Peace Conference at Paris in 2019 that the war was part of his agenda to assimilate the people of Southern Cameroons. Since 2017 the war is still raging. The Norwegian Refugee Council reported it as the world's most neglected displacement crisis; BBCAfricaEye made a documentary about it titled "The Land that bleeds." Senior Investigative Journalist, Cece Buckley of Global Lobbying Watch, wrote about it in June 2025: The Ambazonia War of Independence: THE LOBBYISTS OF GENOCIDE.

Enough is Enough! The genocide going on in the former British Southern Cameroons also known as Ambazonia, must be stopped. After Rwanda, the world said, NEVER AGAIN, yet it is happening in Ambazonia for the past 8 years since President Paul Biya declared war on it on Nov. 30th, 2017 to assimilate it by force. The situation is dire. BBC describes it as the most neglected humanitarian crisis in the world.

The people on home front have expressed their desire for independence through the Cardinal Tumi’s survey and their consistent observation of Monday Ghost Towns, an act of civil disobedience. The Refugees have expressed the same desire by calling out to President Donald J. Trump to stop the war so they can go back home. The Ambazonian diaspora have expressed the same desire. Representatives of Friends of Ambazonia Inc, went all out on the streets of Brooklyn NY during the Unity Parade to plead to President Donald J. Trump to recognize Ambazonia as an independent country. They also pleaded to the Christian community to arise and speak out against the genocide in Ambazonia.
