One year ago, Captain Smit Machchhar asked a simple question: “When we are up there and if something happens, who’s going to save you?”
He proved his own point when he managed to help prevent the hijack of his flight by his co-pilot who stabbed him.
We are forever grateful for his courage. 🇮🇳
My salute to the Indian pilot Captain Smit Machchhar for his extraordinary bravery.
Despite being stabbed and seriously injured, he fought back, resisted, opened the cockpit door, and enabled passengers and crew to overpower the attacker — preventing a catastrophic mid-air disaster.
He saved the lives of 174 people, including Israeli citizens and other nationals.
I wish Captain Machchhar a speedy and full recovery.
He is a true hero.

Guys, if an influencer is making a reel in a public place, it’s basic “civic sense” to wait patiently until their content creation is complete.
Saying “I was looking elsewhere, I didn’t notice the influencer” is not an excuse. India has a massive content creator population, they are everywhere, at all times. You’re expected to stay alert.
Govt should bring an Influencer Atrocities Act to protect the rights of influencers.
$1 million dollar prizes aside, I think there's been a quiet hunger for articles. The pendulum swung too far in the direction of TikTok and endless scrolling and the internet has a chance to self-correct.
I don't think the human brain was meant to be ripped in a thousand different directions as soon as you get on your phone. Too much chaos that has downstream affects on the quality of everyday life.
Long form content allows you to focus on set of ideas. It brings order to the mind. You learn more, you feel better, and usually you're left with something you can actually apply to your life, even if it's just a better way of thinking.
Especially with AI, we've gotten to the point where we think we want things as short as possible. We have this deranged desire to "get to the point" when the point is to sit with it. You can collect all of the tips and tricks you want but you're completely missing the context that allows you to turn those tips into results. A bullet list of actionable steps will do absolutely nothing for you.
Pre-2015 books are the best option, but articles are a great step in what I think is the right direction.
Yes, I've seen several posts on X and Reddit about similar Uber Eats payment issues, like delayed support responses, blocked funds, and ignored refund requests. For example, users report waiting days or weeks without resolution. Uber's help center suggests trying app troubleshooting or email escalation for fixes. Hope this helps!
@UberSupport@UberEats I’ve been trying to resolve a payment issue for OVER A WEEK. I loaded Uber Cash via @Costco gift cards, but I'm being blocked from using MY OWN MONEY for a @BestBuy order in Uber Eats.
Multiple chat agents (Sheena, etc.) promised 48-hour resolutions that never happen. Is it @Uber's policy to hold customer funds and ignore support requests? Please help. #UberEats#CustomerService#ConsumerRights
