జానకమ్మ గారి మరణవార్త నా హృదయాన్ని ఎంతో కలచివేసింది.

నా సినీ ప్రయాణంలో ఎన్నో మరపురాని పాటలకు ఆమె తన అపురూపమైన గాత్రాన్ని అందించారు. మేము తెరపై పలికించిన ఎన్నో భావోద్వేగాలకు ప్రాణం పోసింది ఆమె స్వరమే.

నా కెరీర్‌లో ప్రేక్షకులు ప్రేమగా గుర్తుంచుకున్న ఎన్నో పాటల వెనుక జానకమ్మ గారి మధుర గాత్రం ఉంది. ఆ పాటలు వినిపించిన ప్రతిసారీ, ఆ రోజులు...
ఆ జ్ఞాపకాలు... మళ్లీ కళ్లముందు సజీవంగా నిలుస్తాయి.

జానకమ్మ గారు ఒక గాయని మాత్రమే కాదు... భావాన్ని స్వరంగా మార్చిన అసాధారణ కళాకారిణి. ఆమె పాడిన ప్రతి పాట ఒక జ్ఞాపకం... ఒక అనుభూతి... ఒక జీవితకాలపు అనుబంధం.

ఈ రోజు మనం సంగీత ప్రపంచంలోని ఓ మహోన్నత శిఖరాన్ని కోల్పోయాం. కానీ ఆమె గానం ఎన్నో తరాలకు స్ఫూర్తిగా, మన జీవితాలకు నేపథ్య సంగీతంగా చిరకాలం మార్మోగుతూనే ఉంటుంది.

శ్రీమతి ఎస్. జానకి గారి కుటుంబ సభ్యులకు, ఆత్మీయులకు, ఆమెను అభిమానించే కోట్లాది సంగీతాభిమానులకు నా ప్రగాఢ సానుభూతి తెలియజేస్తున్నాను.

Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy's latest statements once again demonstrate a lack of respect for democratic institutions and constitutional processes.

The Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly passed a resolution seeking permanent legal status for Amaravati as the capital of Andhra Pradesh, and subsequently the Parliament of India passed the Andhra Pradesh Reorganisation (Amendment) Bill, 2026 in both the Lok Sabha and the Rajya Sabha, giving Amaravati statutory recognition as the sole and permanent capital of the State. The President of India has also given assent to the legislation, making it the law of the land.

Despite this, @ysjagan garu now says he will fight the 2029 elections on the issue of "Amaravati versus Mavigun" This is nothing but an attempt to reopen an issue that has already been settled constitutionally, democratically, and legally.

Demanding a reversal of Amaravati's status after Parliament has spoken is comparable to asking for the reunification of Andhra Pradesh with Telangana after the bifurcation was approved and implemented by Parliament. That chapter is closed, and so is the capital issue.

Political parties may change, governments may come and go, but the decisions of the Assembly and Parliament must be respected. Continuously questioning settled constitutional decisions only creates uncertainty, discourages investment, and harms the interests of Andhra Pradesh and its people.

The people of Andhra Pradesh want development, jobs, investments, industries, and infrastructure, not endless political controversies over issues that have already been decided. Amaravati is the permanent capital of Andhra Pradesh, and that subject is closed.

If Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy continues to disrespect the will of the Assembly, Parliament, and the aspirations of the people of Andhra Pradesh, the people will deliver their verdict in 2029 just as they did in 2024. Ignoring democratic institutions and constitutional processes is a path that can only lead to political isolation and single-digit representation.
