PCDA assignment submission day… I cannot wait until this is over and I can just be a cop.
I feel guilty for talking any personal time & don’t even feel able to pick up a book because I can hear the spector of the PCDA telling me I have more importance things to do *sigh*.
I can barely express how devastating this is. Sgt. Seville’s injuries were sustained, not only in the line of duty, but also in the total, unhesitating service of another. The most heroic example of police work most of us will have seen.
Rest in peace Sergeant.
Announcement | Death of Sergeant Graham Saville
It is with great sadness that Nottinghamshire Police confirms the death of a serving officer in the line of duty.

A Nottinghamshire police officer is in a serious condition after attempting to save a distressed man who was on the railway lines. Police were deployed to a residential area in Balderton over concerns for a man’s safety just before 7pm on 24 August.

I was dreading my attachment to PHT.
“I’ll hate working in an office”
“I’m rubbish at case files”
“Custody just stresses me out”
Well what a difference a few weeks can make. Thanks to a bit of graft and a great team, I feel so much more confident dealing with prisoners now!
1st set done! Despite feeling pretty tired I've really enjoyed it. I've had some good feedback from my team but I can see how much I have to learn! No first arrest yet 😫🤣
Well... That was brilliant! A friendly team, an encouraging Sgt. and a proactive/supportive tutor.
I couldn't ask for much more. I've come away feeling really energised, and very lucky! Hope I went out there today and made someone proud 😁💙
After more than a year of recruitment and passing out of my 25 weeks training, tomorrow is my 1st day out in the real world. I can't wait, but I'm shitting it... That's normal, right? 😂🚨
