I rarely talk about my short positions, mainly because I short individual stock so infrequently so there are very few, and 99.99% of my wealth from stock trading came from the long side.
But I did short $RTX today. Looks very heavy under the 200-day line. Chart broke down and stock can't rally. Looks like it wants lower.
As always, I use a stop loss and would not give this trade more than about 8% room on the upside. Shorts can have a tendency to run over the stops on short covering rallies. Generally speaking, I hate shorting.
JUST IN: Standard Chartered compares Ethereum to Amazon during the 2001 dot-com bubble burst, says ETH will catch up to internal metrics
- The ether price has fallen sharply in recent months, but the underperformance does not reflect continuing improvements in Ethereum's internal metrics, according to Standard Chartered Bank's Global Head of Digital Assets Research, Geoffrey Kendrick.
- Kendrick compared ETH to Amazon stock during the 2001 tech bubble burst, saying ETH will catch up to internal metrics and that "it is just a matter of time."
- Kendrick maintained his ether price targets of $4,000 by end-2026 and $40,000 by end-2030.

This simple rule will guarantee your portfolio to outperform the S&P 500 year after year…
Buy stocks when $VIX is $30.
Buy even more stocks when $VIX is $45+
Sell stocks when $VIX hits $14.
Using this rule shows that markets have room to squeeze till August.

My guest today is Paul Tudor Jones (@ptj_official), one of the greatest macro traders of all time.
He correctly predicted the 1987 stock market crash and shorted the Japanese bubble in 1990. For over 40 years, his flagship fund has had a negative correlation to the S&P 500. 100% of his returns are alpha.
He says today's market has so many similarities to 2000, "the easiest bear market I've ever seen in my whole life."
He makes the case for going long dollar-yen, why Bitcoin beats gold as an inflation hedge, and why he was wrong about Warren Buffett.
But what I'll remember most from this conversation is Paul's zest for life. He's 71 and still wakes at 2:30 every morning to trade the London open. He works out for two hours a day. He walks with his wife every evening. He travels the country chasing peak spring and peak fall. He's so excited about the songs picked for his funeral that he wishes he could be there to hear them.
Paul has lived five lifetimes in one. He's one of the most entertaining and interesting people I've met, and the conversation will leave you searching to be as passionate about what you do as he is about what he does.
Enjoy!

Tudo zero-shot. Sem fine-tuning. Direto da caixa.
Fundos de hedge gastam milhões nisso.
Bloomberg Terminal custa US$24.000/ano.
