@Michal61904612@falledlenin What kind of terrorist attacks were there in 1920? After the Ukrainian army helped to stop the Russian Army near Warsaw. The Polish government betrayed Ukrainians, put the Ukrainian army in the first concentration camps where up to 25% of soldiers died.
@Michal61904612@falledlenin This is an absolute lie. A small part of the UPA was involved in the Volyn tragedy, as was a small part of the AK. UPA was fighting against soviet army till 1956.
@Michal61904612@falledlenin He did actually. Pacification and polonization of Ukrainians are crimes against humanity according to the current international law rules.
@Heaney555@Aidan_Wolf@EngRecruitingg@specs You can move your head a bit to look at the object that could not fit into your FOV. 50 degrees should be more than human FOV to recognise objects or read text, so you need to turn your head a bit anyway.
@Heaney555@Aidan_Wolf@EngRecruitingg@specs It has a better FOV than the Vision Pro, as you can see the real world through these glasses with no latency and without obstructions or path-through feed. The overlay layer is smaller than Vision Pro, but I’m fine with it, since it's 700 grams lighter.
Most important part of @evanspiegel keynote that everyone forgot. New @specs brought best of all into one device. Excited about upcoming generation and even more about future generations 😮💨
@Ryanrz XReal Aura is not just have a pack, it is also hard to say that it is see-through. Their optics are barely see-through, and way less see through than SPECS.
Everyone is laughing at the glasses, but I’m looking at the platform! (Spatial Nerd Rant 👇🏾)
I just saw @MKBHD & crew recent video on SPECS. I respect MKBHD Inc. and the @WVFRM crew a lot. They’ve earned their place in tech, and honestly, some of their concerns around Snap SPECS are fair…
✅ SPECS are “Expensive”
✅ They are thicker than “Normal Glasses”
✅ 132–136 grams is not “Regular Eyewear”
✅ Snap still has to clearly show everyday utility to the Public
But I also think some of the bigger-tech reaction is missing the point. SPECS are not Ray-Ban Meta competitors. SPECS are not "JUST" camera glasses, Display glasses, or notification glasses. And even though I personally think they look geek stylish 🤓 , SPECS is not trying to be a fashion-first accessory.
The @specs team is literally putting a real spatial computer into see-through glasses with no puck, no cable, no phone required! This is the early stage of a new computing platform and new platforms always look strange before they look obvious. Forgive the Pun 😄, but Pepperidge Farms Remembers...
💥 People laughed at Personal Computers
💥 People laughed at the Internet
💥 People laughed at iPhones & iPads
💥 People laughed at AirPods
Yes, @Snap has a big job to do to prove the use cases, but I also think it takes courage to build in public! So lets forget about how @evanspiegel ear looked with the glasses on (which he completely debunked already) and lets start talking about what the real conversation should be...
⚡️What happens when developers get their hands on these?
⚡️What happens when creators build experiences for the real world instead of flat screens?
⚡️What happens when computing becomes something we share in physical space instead of something we disappear into alone?
This is why @JoyReignVr & I are paying attention to SPECS and the entire XR ecosystem. This is why we reserved our own pair. Not because this iteration is going to be perfect, but because it is early. And "EARLY" is where the future starts🚀!
