@Dalbodog@lewing99 It’s a life and a soul, and somebody should be there to shed a tear at the loss. Local animal services has a job open, but putting them down is included. I can’t decide if that means I should or shouldn’t apply.
@Dalbodog@lewing99 There was no way I was leaving my beautiful Tess while there was breath in her body. I’ve had to have some really sick barn cats and kittens put down in the past few years. I stay with them too. Every time, it’s the hardest thing I’ve ever had to do.
@KellyThe3rd@AlandAlphoto@historyinmemes The news about it was out there, but to be honest you pretty much had to go looking for it and be persistent to find it.
@bebravegrl119@Imposter_Edits It is amazing to me how many people think they will get me to do something for them by yelling and cussing, when they could save the drama and just say “please.” You catch more flies with honey …
To people who buy blue checks and write long essays: Tweets are supposed to be short for a good reason. If it takes you that long to say it, I don’t care.
@MerriamWebster I’m thinking the writer needed to fill more space, and thus added the second sentence (which contributes nothing). The first sentence needs some help, but ditch the second one altogether.
@ccrask @healingceline I would try to find a female psychologist — Be more likely to believe you, but also more likely to take time to listen to you than a psychiatrist. Psychologists usually don’t have to “process” patients as quickly as psychiatrists do. (Insurance thing. MDs have packed skds.)
@ccrask @healingceline You can also get mad AND go to a psychologist. They may refer you to a therapist. The therapist can help you adjust to having a serious chronic disease, including how to get attention, what other patients do that seems to help them, how to get a case manager.
@4a_of Try having a (high-functioning) mental illness and getting disability. Yeah, that’s not going to happen, because it’s apparently not a problem if I sit at work and cry all day, or fall asleep at the computer because I’m trying a new med.
