No civilian was killed or injured by a shot fired from guns held by the cadets. Ballistic reports were brushed over. Yet the cadets were accused and convicted of taking part in a military coup.

Today is a dark day for military students. 209 cadets were arrested on the night of the coup attempt in Turkey. They have been waiting for their release for 6 years, but have now been condemned to life in prison.

When the police finally arrived, students surrendered to them. Many of these cadets, aged 18-22 were tortured and harassed upon their arrests.
