Great birding trip to Covenham Reservoir but the flies were a nuisance. Black-necked Grebe, Slavonian Grebe, Ruddy Shelduck pair and Great Northern Diver. Also first swallow of the summer @Lincsbirding@LincsWildlife#thephotohour
Distant shots of the Leach's Petrel at Slaynes Lane on a blustery afternoon. A lifer for me and I expect many others also. @britishbirds@NottsBirders@Nottswildlife
Visited Pagets Pool Ryton for the long staying Ferruginous duck and Female Smew. The Ferruginous Duck always stayed distant but the Smew eventually swam a little closer.@britishbirds#thephotohour#warkswildlife
Visited Lincolnshire's Covenham Reservoir for the Great Northern and Black -throated Divers also Snow Bunting. Had great views of The Great Northern Diver as it decided to swim from the centre of the Reservoir close to the bank where I was standing
