I am still a fan of shortening the season instead (playing with game length has merit). If the season was 60 games every game would have more meaning…following the NFL and having certain days of the week that are “NBA Nights” is also possible with fewer games.

But what they are not acknowledging is revenue is up YoY by $18M, the student pop has been declining, but hiring by the district is up, to the point of financial distress. So instead of doing what is hard and laying staff off they instead are impacting children by closing schools
