Phantasy Star Generation:2 (PS2) Just got a huge update!

As of v3.00 the English patch of Phantasy Star Generation:2 is complete, and fully playable on real hardware.

The game no longer crashes post-battle upon winning an item from an enemy. A wide swath of formatting errors and typos have been corrected, all while retaining Kyence's original high quality translation. As she strove for accuracy, there are no patches for alternate names.

This also features an optional gameplay rebalance hack, "Phantasy Star Generation:2 Tweaks"!

With this patch, the balance of the remake is much fairer: character starting stats are improved, the damage of slicers and a few other weapons has been corrected, characters learn more useful techs sooner, techs have fairer TP costs and powers.
