@bbctms It may be the case that a few abandon Test cricket to chase franchise money: so be it. I’d rather have players who are totally committed to England and a Test series than some dipping in and out due to commitments. Plus does IPL really prepare you for 5 days of Test cricket?

@asandysmith @BBCNews I’ve never got it at all. Any of the holding in the penalty area would be given as an immediate free kick if outside the box - but seemingly allowed in the box. All would be penalties.
