@homebargains can I ask if there are any plans to bring Home Bargins to Luton? Whenever I visit my sister in Belfast, we always go to Home Bargins. It’s a must. Be nice if one opens in Luton.
@BarclaysUKHelp why is the Barclaycard app the same as the normal Barclays app? I used to be able to manage it under one but it was removed and was told that it is now separate. When I downloaded the Barclaycard app, it’s exactly the same as my Barclays, yet the it not shown.
@OctopusElectro I pay using my Octopus energy account. So at the moment it is in credit. If my energy account didn’t have credit, would I still be able to use the app to charge and have it billed to my energy account as normal or would I need to get my account into credit?
@sunsaveuk is there anyway I could get a quote for solar without having to give my contact details? It be nice to know the cost before being subjected to marketing e-mails or calls from a team trying to push sales.
@OctopusEnergy it used to be that you could get a solar panel set up quote on your website but now it just goes to the solar team for discussion. I’m very interested in having solar but I would like to know the cost before I start talking to someone. Any chance this can return?
@marklpotts@AdmiralUK They are a joke. 14 years with them and they increased my premiums by 57%. Even though I’m not using the car as much. This is not the same Admiral I started with. Their “customer service” is nonexistent anymore. Definitely moving to another provider
@AdmiralUK No point. Got the renewal today and had a word with one of your advisors. I have never experienced such awful customer service from Admiral. Been a customer for 14 years and the experience now is horrific. No way can you justify 57% increase in premium.
@AdmiralUK my car insurance renewal is on the 6/7/26, yet I have no received any e-mail nor any communication in the app. Isn’t it supposed to be sent between 28-30 days before renewal? What is happening to Admiral customer service? Never seen it this poor.
@sainsburys is there a feedback form to request smart charge to come to one of your stores? I highly recommend the store on Dunstable Road, Luton, have the facility. It has a big enough car park and is located in a convenient area.
@OctopusEnergy I’ve used the Electroverse app to charge my EV which is linked to my octopus account. When would this be deducted from/applied to my bill?
@OctopusEnergy when using the Electroverse to charge at a public charge point, via the app, would I get the standard rate or would I get the rate as if I was using the original app rate? For example if I used InstaVolt, it 55p (special rate), would I get the same rate?
@AdmiralUK We both feel that we had given Admiral enough chances in the call and at each time, the advisor failed. She has now switched to a new provider.
@AdmiralUK “always looking out for you”? My niece didn’t feel looked after. Spoke to your advisor Sameer. Not helpful at all. It was her renewal & to save her money, he advised her that it’s best to remove her lifeline, her dad, from her insurance to save £500. What a joke!!
@kelsey_mar46868@AdmiralUK@financialombuds Also there is no way to obtain a new quote to see what a new customer would be getting, as they force you to register an account. Utter joke. They failed my niece and my renewal is up next month. Be looking to move elsewhere
