@jebonaventure They're not interns, interns always wear green. The ones in yellow are production assistants, like Oliver, Emily and Marcus in All Stars.
If I'm not mistaken these are the same guys who appear for a glimpse in the CoC finale and are based on real people working on the show.
@DialConfession@NastyBasket It'd be nice if RTD didn't stick to his "this is what we planned" script. I dont need him to spill industry secrets but it's been really tiring having to guess for 3 years now if he took necessary falls or is just as arrogant as his posts and interviews make you believe.
@DialConfession@NastyBasket TBH, After all this, it seems like keeping the original ending of TRW would've been more respectful to a lot of people involved, and a pretty neat starting point for a new era of audio/book adventures. Carol Ann Ford gets a real comeback, 15 and Belinda have goals,to be continued
@GachaVian Other than the fact that 2017 has a lot of questionable placements, I really do believe the outfit hurt her a lot. Especially criminal since she looks great in the MV.
@_allthingsadam_ I'm not the greatest fan of the storytelling within these videos, but the postcards being physically available around Basel was a top notch surprise and they're my favourite piece of memorabilia from the 3 host cities I visited
@Aaron_F320 Arguements can be made against both, the first one is somewhat corny, the second is less meaningful. Tbh im glad that we get a healthier mix of them nowadays. I mildly rolled my eyes at singers floating in the darkness between sqaures or in front of a bunch of lines or whatever
@Aaron_F320 Imo until 2017 Sweden had a very maximalist, innovation/storytelling centered approact to stagings, then did the opposite in 2018-2023, where most Swedish stages were extremely minimalists, featuring 1-2 shapes lighting up in 1-3 different colors in the dark to set the mood
@l0veinjected Ooh I agree btw, 2016 was the first contest I followed from NF season all the way to rehearsal week sneak peeks and Iceland was my favourite throughout, so it was kinda my first big ESC shock ๐ฅฐ๐
@theswedenboo@MrCammyK Yes, she obviously put in the work to improve her chances! It just feels like self sabotage from Belgium to enter her with a dance themed song when that's clearly not who she is
@theswedenboo@MrCammyK I think the majority are fine with the sound, her lack of charisma and not dancing is what they hate. I personally am mostly agains the lyrics, wth is this "sun is shinining, ice cream melting, a cold king is inside my back" kind of nonsense ๐ญ barely even rhymes most of the time
@atjames88@ESCdiscord What this article is saying is that if only 500 people voted for Israel, but each 20 times, it would have been already enough to surpass Ukraine, who got the second highest amount of votes.
@Neilis2cool Slight correction because I finally found the quote (by director of DMGP Erik Struve)
It was Albania and Greece, not Montenegro, and the guy was technically saying Southern Europe instead of Eastern, although he only named Eastern countries and not Spain or San Marino
@Neilis2cool I also remember some member of the Danish delegation/broadcaster blamed their bad result on Eastern Europe, stating something along the lines of "those savages cannot appreciate real music", using a country as example which wasn't even competing (Montenegro maybe?)
