I’m not surprised you would say something like this, @GovSherrillNJ.
On June 8th, I personally granted you access to the facility as an act of good faith— despite you having exactly ZERO federal oversight authority. Of course, you’re still trying to turn Delaney Hall into a political football for the radical left.
You were told BEFORE you went in you would not have the ability to speak to detainees. This is a federal facility, Governor. You are NOT federally elected.
I suggest you and your health inspectors spend more time at your New Jersey state detention facilities. Delaney Hall has 2x more medical personnel per detainee than NJ state prison, and at least 2x as much square footage. Detainees are also 2x more likely to die in NJ state custody. ⬇️

👉 Human genetics has become the most powerful engine for discovering new lipid-lowering therapies—and the evidence is already changing clinical practice.
1️⃣ PCSK9: Individuals born with loss-of-function mutations have lifelong low LDL-C and dramatically lower ASCVD risk. This observation led directly to the development of evolocumab, alirocumab, inclisiran, and now oral PCSK9 inhibitors and gene-editing strategies.
2️⃣ APOC3: Natural APOC3 deficiency results in very low triglycerides and reduced cardiovascular risk, inspiring therapies such as olezarsen and plozasiran, now approved for familial chylomicronemia syndrome.
3️⃣ ANGPTL3: Patients with genetic ANGPTL3 deficiency exhibit combined hypolipidemia and protection from ASCVD, paving the way for evinacumab and next-generation RNA and gene-editing therapies.
4️⃣ HDL-C: Genetics also teaches us what not to target. Mendelian randomization predicted that simply raising HDL-C would not reduce cardiovascular events, a prediction later confirmed by the failure of CETP inhibitor outcome trials.
👉The next revolution is already underway: RNA silencing and gene editing aim to permanently reproduce these naturally protective genetic variants, potentially providing lifelong cardiovascular benefit from a single intervention.

☝️Atherosclerosis & Dementia: The Missing Link?
👉A new review reinforces a concept lipidologists and preventive cardiologists should not ignore: what damages arteries may also damage the brain.
1️⃣ Up to 45% of dementia cases may be preventable through modification of cardiovascular risk factors.
2️⃣ High LDL-C, elevated triglycerides, hypertension, type 2 diabetes, obesity, and smoking show the strongest evidence as causal risk factors for late-life dementia.
3️⃣ Genetic and Mendelian randomization studies increasingly support a role for apoB-containing lipoproteins in dementia risk, strengthening the vascular-brain connection.
4️⃣ Emerging evidence suggests that lipid-lowering therapies, particularly statins, may reduce dementia risk beyond cardiovascular protection.
5️⃣ The take-home message is simple: early prevention matters. By the time dementia becomes clinically apparent, decades of vascular and neurodegenerative injury may already have occurred.
🧠🤝❤️ What is good for the heart is good for the brain.
☝️Perhaps the strongest argument yet for aggressive lifetime management of LDL-C and overall cardiometabolic risk.

From one of the most credible, intelligent, honest, and genuine people I have ever known. I can tell you that she does not make such statements without absolute certainty- and only after all other possible reasons and remedies have been exhausted. Listen to Dr. Jan @Election_Adv
Great point from a caller today -- the media excoriated Donald Trump over anonymously sourced claims he mocked wounded soldiers. Graham Platner, in his own words, did the same and said they got what they deserved. Where's the Atlantic/CNN/MSNBC excoriating Platner?
Seriously ???
The magistrate judge apologized for putting Cole Allen on suicide watch, which involved solitary confinement.
And ruled he be integrated with the rest of the prisoners and be given a bible.
The prosecutors suggested that perhaps someone who left final goodbye notes and launched an all out attack to try to kill as many cabinet members and the president as well as possible might possibly need a psych evaluation and could possibly be suicidal.
I thought perhaps the article with its headline about the judge apologizing to the assassin was from The Babylon Bee. What planet could this judge possibly be on? Does he not remember what happened to Lee Harvey Oswald? Does he not realize that mixing him at this point would be a danger to him? And not realize that putting him on suicide watch was a perfectly realistic action given Allen never expected to survive the attack?
Sometimes it just seems like an upside down world.
NPR just reaffirmed why it lost federal funding. It ran a segment that falsely claimed that the Court “gutted” the Voting Rights Act and suggested that Callais rolled back on protections against Jim Crow laws…https://t.co/4TXMU7BMGr
The SPLC literally opened up bank accounts in the name of fake photography businesses to pay people in hate groups -- it is absolute textbook financial fraud. The media attempts to make the case seem doubtful are pretty desperate.
🚨 NOW: King Charles has a PRESIDENTIAL-level motorcade rolling through DC right now
We now have an ACTUAL king on our soil, but there are NO SIGNS of any "No Kings" protests anywhere in the nation right now.
Interesting how that works!
🚨 New data on heart failure & quadruple therapy is striking:
82% of HF patients are eligible for quadruple GDMT — yet only 15.3% receive it at discharge.
The cost of undertreating? A 24.8% absolute risk reduction in 12-month all-cause mortality with quadruple vs. no GDMT.
We have the tools. We're not using them.
Triple therapy (RASi + BB + MRA) reaches 41.5% — still leaving massive gaps. SGLT2i uptake must catch up.
Every patient who doesn't get quadruple therapy is a preventable death.

In his fake White House correspondents speech @JimmyKimmelLive actually joked about Trump’s assassination — just before a real assassin showed up at the real dinner.
Hey @DisneyABCTV when the hell are you finally going to pull this vile person from the airwaves?
The next time someone tells you that Iran is ahead in the war with the U.S. and Israel, remember these things. Yes, challenges remain, but the points made here are true:

BREAKING: @JUDICIALWATCH FOIA UNCOVERS FBI OBJECTIONS TO MAR-A-LAGO RAID! The documents also how leftist groups helped spur the targeting of President Trump over presidential records, FBI objections over there was "probable cause" to justify the planned raid on Trump's home, and evidence of leaks to left media about the investigation. The documents were produced in response to a Judicial Watch FOIA on "Plasmic Echo"--the code name for the secret investigation of the Trump records issue.
KEY TAKEAWAYS
•FBI’s Washington Field Office explicitly told DOJ it did not believe probable cause existed for a search warrant of Mar-a-Lago—including the former president’s residence and bedroom—yet DOJ proceeded anyway. Internal WFO emails dated July 12–13, 2022, state that WFO does not believe probable cause has been established for the search warrant at Mar-a-Lago, and that the case agent does not believe there is PC for the 45 Office or the bedroom due to recency and issues of boxes versus classified information. Despite this documented objection, DOJ directed the search to proceed on August 8, 2022.
•A senior FBI WFO official raised concerns about DOJ’s handling of the pre-search contact with Trump’s attorney, citing a DOJ official’s statement that he “frankly doesn’t give a damn about the optics.” In an August 4, 2022 email, the WFO Assistant Special Agent in Charge requested that the FBI—not DOJ—make first contact with Trump attorney Evan Corcoran before the search. The official cited the “antagonistic relationship” built by DOJ with Trump’s counsel and quoted a DOJ official’s indifference to the optics of the search.
•WFO repeatedly proposed less confrontational alternatives to a search warrant and was rebuffed each time by DOJ. Internal WFO documents outline multiple alternative courses of action rejected by DOJ: contacting Trump or his counsel directly; requesting DOJ contact Evan Corcoran; pursuing a consent search; and seeking a new NARA referral for presidential records. WFO wrote that five weeks fixated on probable cause for a search warrant have been counterproductive.
•The investigation was opened as a Sensitive Investigative Matter on February 11, 2022 following FBI Headquarters direction, after coordination with the FBI’s Deputy Director, OGC, and DOJ. Multiple Import Forms document that on February 11, 2022, the Counterintelligence Division Associate Director met with the FBI Deputy Director, OGC, and DOJ and then directed WFO to open PLASMIC ECHO as a SIM. Named HQ participants included Lisa Gentilcore and Alan Kohler of the Counterintelligence Division.
•Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington (CREW) and the National Security Archive sent a letter to the Attorney General and FBI Director requesting a criminal investigation—and that letter was routed into the PLASMIC ECHO case file and acted upon within days. A February 24, 2022 Import Form records that WFO was notified of a letter from CREW and the National Security Archive, dated February 8, 2022, requesting DOJ investigate whether former President Trump violated federal criminal law by willfully mutilating and destroying critical records of his presidency. It was assigned to the FBI’s Counterintelligence Division with a Sentinel due date of March 17, 2022.
•The Washington Post was seeking confirmation of FBI outreach to witnesses in “Trump’s orbit” months before the August 8, 2022 search, and the WFO Public Affairs Officer documented the inquiry in the case file. A May 12, 2022 Import Form documents that the WFO Public Affairs Officer received a call from The Washington Post seeking confirmation that DOJ had issued subpoenas to NARA and that the FBI had begun reaching out to and/or interviewing individuals in Trump’s orbit related to the investigation. The officer provided no comment. [pp. 86–87 of 212]
•CD Assistant Director Alan E. Kohler Jr. sent an all-hands email to Counterintelligence Division staff the day after the search, defending the investigation and stating it was conducted by the book in the most professional manner possible. Kohler’s August 10, 2022 email acknowledged erroneous press reporting but stated agents were prevented by DOJ and FBI policy from sharing investigative details, and that he vowed not to repeat the mistakes of the past. The email was forwarded into the PLASMIC ECHO case file the next day.
•Director Wray sent a bureau-wide email the day after the search stating the FBI does not cut corners and does not play favorites, while the WFO’s own internal documents show field agents had formally disputed the probable cause basis for the search. Director Wray’s August 11, 2022 bureau-wide message—filed into the PLASMIC ECHO case file—stated the investigative steps taken were measured and scrupulously consistent with national security obligations. This was sent the day after WFO’s internal emails documenting its disagreement with DOJ over probable cause had already been filed into the same case record.
New insights from the INTERASPIRE study highlight a critical gap in global cardiovascular prevention.
Across seven countries and five WHO regions, physicians largely agree on the importance of lipid management—but real-world practice tells a different story. Access to advanced testing (like Lp(a)) remains inconsistent, routine use is limited, and interpretation varies widely.
At the same time, most clinicians aim for guideline-recommended LDL-C targets—yet achieving them consistently remains a challenge across regions.
The takeaway: aligning evidence, access, and implementation is essential to closing the global gap in cardiovascular risk reduction.
