I've noticed that I tend to have a sort of respect toward secular nationalists like DuBois, Atatürk, Savarkar, Hébert, and so on. Despite disagreements with all of them, their atheism (without Communist influence) indicates to me that they are capable of recognizing reality.

The United States is a liberal republic. Understanding that clearly better enables Americans to resist influence by illiberal, anti-republican ideologies like fascism, Communism, and Christianity, that have all chipped away at American liberal republicanism to various extents.

Advocates of diversity should keep in mind that the US is only about 15% black. So you should expect, in a totally equitable world that in any given area, only 15% of the people would be black. On a panel of 7, only one person would be black and a panel of 5, none would be.
