If when, to Pluto's shores thy shade descend,
No monument, no stone, no tearful friend
Attend thy grave, and rest thee from alarms,
The skeletons' grim war will claim thy arms.

@Oda_CM@driv3r They also ended up introducing a huge weird age gap between Anakin and Padmรฉ for seemingly no reason, I don't see why he couldn't have been 12 or 13 not like 6
It's honestly such a good bit that George Lucas spent so long building up the Clone Wars and called the 2nd prequel ATTACK OF THE CLONES and the war starts at the very end. OK here we go. Then at the very beginning of the next film they're like OK that's a wrap on the Clone Wars!
@_Maxjes The Tartakovsky Clone Wars (the only iteration I've seen) is at least plausibly the best Star Warsโrelated work released since Return of the Jedi
@ProtoLump @Tier1Diabetic I've always thought it was a missed opportunity that they didn't make Luke's simple black outfit from ROTJ the normative Jedi uniform, it preserves the clerical overtones while being much cooler and less larpy
@metaplexmovies Oh yeah for some reason I didn't think of the Order 66 deployments being part of the Clone Wars but you must be right. I haven't seen it for a decade tbh except for catching a few scenes on hotel TVs
@metaplexmovies To the best of my recollection the opening battle (with Palatine's rescue) is the concluding action of the Clone Wars, so we only see the very beginning and the very end
