On behalf of the Odisha Nursing Employees Association, Nursing Officers in their respective Govt. hospitals in Odisha held a candle march in participation of Nursing Students to protest the barbaric rape and murder of a Nursing Officer in Uttarakhand and a trainee Doctor in Kolkata.
Nursing Officers in Odisha are demanding imposition of capital punishment like death penalty on the accused involved in the heinous crime in Kolkata and Uttarakhand.
The Odisha Nursing Employees Association earnestly request our Hon'ble President, India and Hon'ble Prime Minister, India to give justice to the Victims and to hang the accused under unbiased investigation. We further request you to implement Central Healthcare Protection Act nationwide to protect all health care providers.
