@Algorant@sonyasupposedly I would have said that before meeting my third child. This kid is anti-Montessori. No interest in ironing, polishing, folding, etc. There are outliers in everything.
@webdevMason Some kids are more disagreeable than others, a lesson I learned after four kids. Thomas Phelan’s Magic 1-2-3 helped me with my child who was unmoved by my previously successful discipline repertoire. Having a ready-set plan helps especially with those public tantrums.
@wrathofgnon The mass masonry walls are the very distinctive, and expensive, header bond with glazed brick used at the outer wythe. The roof is a king-post truss system. The front arcade is taken from English civic forms and is also heavily used at nearby College of William and Mary.
@bethanyshondark@TheMomWars Reading this as my family of six is just now recovering from the Pukes. Puppy pads would’ve saved me from having to rent one of those giant carpet cleaners.
@bethanyshondark Don’t fall for this antinatalist argument that it’s selfish to bring a child into a less than perfect situation. All I know is I’m happy to be alive and even happier to have four children all because my 66 yo dad and 46 yo mom dared to have me when they were old.
@wrathofgnon Also remarkable when you consider that the workers were provided daily wine rations, though those who worked on scaffolding had their wine watered down.
