[thanks to everyone for all the kind words and advice. it’s not unlike him to be gone for a few days, so i will keep hoping he returns. we live in rural talladega, alabama, and my neighbors are all pretty spread out. i will keep hoping he returns, but we have been hearing coyotes

[and we also had a new dog show up that Popeye doesn’t get along with. i’m still going to hope he’ll return. he’s not microchipped so we can’t look for that. we also moved some stuff on a trailer to my sister’s house, and i’m thinking he must have gotten on it the night before.
