10 Downing Street is hosting its first ever hackathon.

​The two-day hackathon will bring technologists from outside government together with civil servants to work on real problems facing the state.

Anyone is open to apply, although spots will be limited.

They're releasing information on the key tracks later this week, although it's going they are going to be focused on solving real problems that civil servants and the government face today.

The strongest teams will present their work to the Cabinet Secretary (@AntoniaRomeoUK) and other government leaders in No10.

This is a real opportunity for people with a tech background to an impact within government.

WE LOVE TO SEE IT.

Technology presents such a huge opportunity to improve public services, and it's amazing to see the government embrace this opportunity.
