I goo to a party, a guy is pitching me his new tech startup. I ask "p*rn or gambling?". He doesn't understand. I pull out the diagram showing the tech spectrum. Je laughs and says "it's a good tech sir". I look it up: it's gambling on p*rn.
Hey @JoelWBerry I think you should prove the racists wrong and adopt a Somalian. Come on bro, put the money you saved from not buying $20 burritos where your mouth is?
So tired of this. So tired of pretending like the H-1B program does anything for America except enrich one foreign nation at our expense and empower mass offshoring.
This is genuinely the stupidest game of pretend I’ve ever seen.
Japan, Korea, and Taiwan have no equivalent of an H-1B program and they dominate semiconductor manufacturing, memory chip production, display production, gaming, shipbuilding, imaging sensors, etc. Their only competitor is America, not the country that staffs the world’s back offices.
American tech became great by the 1990s *and then* we opened the H-1B program.
What I find most odious about this is that in her mind this is just rote pandering, while in the eyes of history, it's colonization. Everyone in this footage thinks they're winning. Just on different scales.
American Democracy is a Thai woman with no legs lecturing you over the alleged mistreatment of black rapists while our government continues to send money to a race of sex criminals in the Middle East.
@kohnzithal@cu_monkey@crushmarxismnow San Francisco is, indeed, a shit hole and Chinatown definitely contributes to that vibe.
However, I've been to the Indian Subcontinent, The Philippines, and some of the dumpier Middle Eastern countries.
They make SanFran look like Shangri-La, comparatively.
This was a pre-enforcement challenge. So FIRE venue shopped this outcome in San Jose federal court. All in support of the proposition that aliens should have the right to use our freedoms against us. Wasn’t the biggest movie of the summer abt how it’s wrong to abuse hospitality?
I read the part where it says "noncitizen", ie the part that makes it neither arbitrary nor capricious because it applies only to a small group of people who by definition do not have the full rights of citizens
SCOTUS still gets a say on this
But
If visa holders are free to incite hatred and speak against the fundamental values of this country, we must tighten up rules limiting entry & immigration of those types.
@NicoPerrino America is not "committed" to foreigners agitating against the policies of the CITIZEN'S government.
Non-citizens do not have a right to be in this country, and your retarded, very dangerous case, seeks to give them one.
Shame on you, Nico.
Go Fuck Yourself.
@Farman844845@crushmarxismnow I know that, but I've only ever seen this point made by Latinos who look marginally lighter than the Sudanese, so my point stands.
Fwiw, I also would never want Indian neighbors.
