According to human rights reports, these young were arrested during the #Jan8_9 protests in Isfahan and allegedly subjected to severe torture to extract forced confessions. Reports also indicate that some of their family members were detained to increase pressure on them.

Ten are being held in solitary confinement in the political ward, denied fresh air and family visits. Their final family visits reportedly took place last week. There are growing fears that the authorities may carry out the executions in pairs.

Iran’s regime just sentenced a 22-year-old rapper to death.

Not for murder. Not for terrorism. For slogans, dissent, for refusing to shut up. Simply for demanding freedom and protesting against oppression.

His name is Mehnam Navab-Safavi. He was arrested, forced to confess, denied a real trial, and now faces execution.

And somehow the international community still treats Iran’s rulers like difficult diplomats instead of what they are: executioners with embassies and good lobbyists in the West.

In the past two weeks alone, at least 50 protesters have reportedly had death sentences issued, upheld, or carried out.

So I call on all rappers, singers, celebrities who post ten slides about free speech, now please be his voice. Because this is free speech with a noose around its neck.

Please use your platform and demand that Iran’s regime stop the execution of Mehnam Navab-Safavi.

Every morning I write about someone Iran just executed, within minutes, a message arrives a mother, a sister, a friend, begging me to write about their loved one who is on the death row. Before it's too late.

This is why I want to write before the execution of this young woman, not after. Arghavan Fallahi. 24 years old. Evin Prison. Sentenced to death.

Judge Salavati one of Iran's most notorious hanging judges, sentenced her under "Baghi," armed rebellion.

During months in solitary confinement, she was subjected to severe psychological torture and pressure to make forced confessions. But she refused. So they sentenced her to death anyway.

Fellow female prisoners who were with Arghavan inside Evin say her situation is urgent. The torture has left her with severe psychological trauma and physical illness. She is not just facing the death sentence, she is suffering right now, inside that cell. But is still alive and is still time to save her life.

Please join me and help us Iranians to say her name now and demand international community and the leader leaders of the world to put pressure on these that republic to stop them from executing her and other political prisoners.
