@Wiltster Alternative title:
Plumbing saves millions of lives, but it’s also reliant on fossil fuels for its raw materials and is used by data centers to extract water away from communities.
@WAVY_News “…could improve pedestrian safety and reduce traffic deaths” assumes 1) that the reduction is worth the cost, and 2) there is an excessive number of stop sign and crosswalk related violations that warrant the expense of contracting for cameras.
@Its_Coach_A@DSACoachHlee_4 Education is a process with many moving parts and coaches have a relatively small role, even for athletes. Ultimately, as you mentioned, parents have the final say.
Parents should make the best choice for their children, and the onus is on public schools to be the best choice. I cannot begrudge a parent for doing what’s best for their kids. A close friend moved his entire family from 757 to 301 so his 5 kids could attend a specific school.
There’s no way around it — it’s tough watching so many student-athletes leave public school programs to go play private school ball in Virginia.
Time will tell how it all plays out, but one thing doesn’t change: only 11 players can be on the field at a time on offense and defense.
Opportunities matter. Development matters. Playing time matters.
Don’t get caught chasing a dream and end up leaving a situation where you’re contributing and growing, just to find yourself in a crowded roster fighting to be seen.
Every move should be about fit, growth, and long-term development — not just perception.
Make the decision that’s best for your journey, not just what looks good from the outside.
@MyForkedTongue@BreitbartNews More revenue isn’t the problem. DC, Richmond, and local governments have a spending problem. The same ppl who mismanage government will raise taxes to fund more government. There’s no accountability for past failures.
@the757ff@Coach_BriceMHS Lighting? Sir, that’s similar to saying the weather was bad so the other team got lucky. There’s no luck because it affects both teams. The difference is whether the team is prepared for dealing with adversity. That’s coaching.
@CoachGRJr21@CoachDaniels06 Exactly. Most camps are a money grab and offer no value. Youth sports generates MORE revenue than the NFL. Within the next decade, youth sports revenue will be double NFL revenue.
