First, Shiv Sena’s Deputy Mayor Sanjay Ghadi asked for a bungalow because his back hurts from travelling between Dahisar and BMC Headquarters. Now Mayor Ritu Tawde is seeking ₹2.89 crore for sound barriers to be installed so she can get a sound sleep.
Isn’t the Mayor’s heritage bungalow located inside the Veermata Jijabai Bhosale Botanical Garden and Zoo (commonly known as Byculla Zoo) in Byculla, South Mumbai? Isn’t living inside a garden peaceful enough?
And she has only recently spent ₹4 crore on the interiors. The basics are fine, but do these kinds of demands fit the BJP’s agenda and principles?
In a city where ordinary residents routinely manage sleep amid festival processions and urban noise, the scale and nature of these requests invite scrutiny and raised eyebrows.
If I don’t get sleep it is because—
I haven’t worked hard the whole day; just sat on one chair and ordered meals and watched TV and did time pass.
If this problem persists, I should immediately consult a therapist and sort my personal life , if it is disturbed due to any issues!

If Agnikul Cosmos, a pvt company based in Chennai achieved this then
Only India & USA would be capable of catching & recovering rocket boosters like this
Their initial aim is vertical landing on a sea barge using landing legs, which is how SpaceX recovers its Falcon 9 boosters
This initial aim will lay a further base for catching rockets like Space X mid air using mechanical arms, first trail is just next year
End Days of Swami Vivekananda
at Belur.
He passed away in 1902 at the age of just 39. It was 9:10 p.m. at Belur Math.
It was reported that that night his disciples had prepared Hilsa fish. He had early supper and took bed. He was an acute diabetic, yet made no limitations of food. In fact he had jastic n other diseases also.
Words spread in the morning.
Yet no news reporters arrived, and remarkably, none of the newspapers published in Bengal carried the news of his death the following day. Nor did any prominent political leader or celebrated Bengali publicly express condolences. It is astonishing to think about.
In fact those days Daksineswar and Belur were known as residencies of lunatics.
Throughout his short life, Swami Vivekananda endured humiliation, neglect, and repeated rejection.
His father's was a wealthy lawyer. After his death, his uncles drove them out from their house. He had to fight legal battles with relatives over family property and had to appear in court on numerous occasions.
His mother lived in extreme poverty. Every morning he would leave home in search of employment, wandering from office to office. Many days, knowing there was no rice, lentils, oil, or salt at home to feed his mother, he would tell his mother, "Don't cook for me today, Mother. I've been invited to a friend's house for dinner." In reality, there was no invitation. He often went hungry so that the rest of the family could eat.
He struggled with poverty throughout his life. At the age of 23, he secured a teaching position at the Metropolitan Institution, founded by Ishwar Chandra Vidyasagar.
However, the headmaster—Vidyasagar's son-in-law—disliked Narendra Nath Datta and reportedly had him dismissed, alleging that he did not teach well. This happened despite his extraordinary intellect, scholarship, and eloquence.
Even abroad, a Bengali religious leader allegedly spread false rumours that Vivekananda had several wives, ten or twelve children, and was nothing more than a fraud and a gambler. 💥
"Many times I have passed days without food. I felt that perhaps I would die that very day. Then I would rise, crying, 'Victory to Brahman!' and declare: 'I have no fear. I know neither death nor hunger. I am beyond thirst. What power does the world have to destroy me?'"
When the ailing Swami Vivekananda returned to Calcutta after achieving worldwide acclaim, many prominent Bengalis reportedly declined to attend or organise a public reception in his honour. Eventually, Paryichand Mitra agreed but is said to have remarked that since Vivekananda was a Kayastha rather than a Brahmin, he could not truly be a monk and would therefore address him merely as "Brother Vivekananda."
By 1898, Americans were deeply inspired by his speeches and writings, while many in his own homeland remained indifferent.
That same year, the sick Swami consulted the renowned physician Dr. Rasiklal Dutt at his clinic on Sadar Street in Calcutta.
There is no known photograph of Swami Vivekananda after his death. Nor is there an officially preserved death certificate, despite the existence of the Bally–Belur Municipality at the time.
Ironically, that same municipality imposed an amusement tax on Belur Math.
Some people even mocked the monastery, dismissing it as a gathering place for idle young men and using insulting nicknames such as "Bichitra Ananda" or "Bibi-ka-Ananda"—
Being frustated he once said,
"Only another Vivekananda could truly understand what this Vivekananda has accomplished."
Swami Vivekananda now is
revered across India and around the world. Yet during his own lifetime, he endured poverty, insults, and neglect.

A very sincere suggestion to @PMOIndia and @mansukhmandviya , to put large billboards of all the medal winners of the #Commonwealth games, in all cities across the nation..
Let the people see the difference between the Gen Z and Gen Z for good; And decide which are the ideal Gen Z ; the ones found with foul mouth screams at Jantar Mantar or the ones who have made the country proud!!

Maharashtra FDA Commissioner Tukaram Mundhe is preparing to approach the NPPA for action against a set of medicines for being sold at exorbitant prices
He is trying to make our food clean and healthy
He is trying to reduce our medicine bill
I hope he can also address the exorbitant school fees and hospital fees topic next.
This man is truly a real-life Singham! Thank you, @Tukaram_IndIAS Sir! God bless you :)
Tukaram Mundhe has done more in 2 months for food safety standards and awareness in Maharashtra than anyone else has in more than 2 decades.
The least he deserves is the unconditional support of the people for whom he is doing everything.
It takes a special kind of "creativity" to miscast the principal characters of the Ramayana so completely. One wonders whether the filmmakers ever opened the Vālmīki Rāmāyaṇa before deciding how Rāma and Sītā should look.
Vālmīki doesn't leave their appearance to imagination. From head to toe, he describes them in remarkable detail, in perfect harmony with Samudrika Lakshana. Yet we are served a Sītā who bears little resemblance to that description. There is no mention of a nose ring in the Vālmīki Rāmāyaṇa. Sītā did not wear a modern blouse but a different style of upper garment. She is described as radiant, graceful, healthy, and possessing exquisitely proportioned features, including a sharp, beautiful nose—not someone who looks more like a palace maid than the princess of Mithilā.
Ironically, more effort seems to have gone into ignoring the original text than into faithfully representing it.
For readers who want to know how Vālmīki actually described Rāma, Sītā, and other characters—not how modern filmmakers imagine them—I have documented these descriptions in detail, with textual references, in my book Ramayana 5114 BCE: Decoding the Date and Myths. Sometimes, the original is far more compelling than cinematic "creativity."

I have documented hundreds of Instagram accounts that exist solely to spread fake and misleading content through videos and graphics, many of which receive millions of views. See the thread below for just a few examples.
Yet instead of taking action against these accounts, Instagram has restricted three of my fact-check videos in India.
Meta said they blocked Modi post in India by mistake.
I am in IT. There is nothing called as mistake in IT. You set an algorithm and that is how it works.
Meta is working against India.
