A proud community health worker under ministry of health in Uganda supported by living goods I do advocacy World wide so that all CHWs get fair salary etc
@MinofHealthUG@RichardKabanda2@join_chic It was a great honor to see a VHT participating in high level meetings and I request MOH to continue including us in every decision about community health for better planning
This morning, Commissioner for Health Promotion, Education & Strategic Communication, Dr. @RichardKabanda2, met with the Community Health Worker Partners Coalition Uganda. Supported by @join_chic, the coalition advocates for stronger community health systems.
Dr. Kabanda shared that @MinofHealthUG has mobilized over UGX70Bn to scale up the Community Health Worker program over the past 2 years. He also noted that new Village Health Teams (VHT) guidelines have been developed and await approval. #MOHatWork
"There is a limit to voluntarism; it can’t go on forever." Hon. Jane Ruth Aceng, Minister of Health, Uganda, reminds us of why we need to invest in #proCHWs, ensuring they are paid, trained, and integrated into national health systems. #UNGA79
Community Health Workers have been instrumental in health systems but our voices have been missing so it's a unique way of leading from behind
#join CHIC and
Support #ProChws the norm worldwide

CHW @Lanjeni77951 asks that CHWs are given ongoing training, support and supervision to be able to continue delivering quality care to the most marginalized and vulnerable populations, including refugees and displaced people.. Because CHWs work!
Thanks to Living Goods for your support, ProCHWs are the key and champions of Health Global so the World will not reach Health For All without equipped chws with
#Salaried#Skilled#Supervised#Supplied chws.
Good health only happens if there are good working conditions.
For maximum lives saved, CHWs must be salaried, skilled, supervised, & supplied. In most places, they’re not.
At @join_chic we’re collaborating to change that & reach #healthforall.

Peer to peer supervision has helped us to improve our relationship and performance,we promote teamwork by escorting our fellows to the field.
It has helped us to be known more because we escort each other.
The meetings we conduct have helped us to improve
@JanetMuseveni@Educ_SportsUg Weldone and thanks for being a supportive woman we are blessed to have you as our first lady

@KagutaMuseveni Great and thanks for that our national Leader
But as aVHT leader we still need your help to tell and explain our challenges and the way how we have managed to bridge the gap between the community health and facilities, how we have decreased morbidities, mortalities and disability
