PSLF stats: $150 million was forgiven in the past 12 months. The year before that, only $50 million was forgiven. So we've seen the amount forgiven triple in just 1 year. We'll continue to see exponential growth. I expect $500 million forgiven between June 2020 and June 2021.

@FAFSA We are still not getting clear answers here, so let’s try again. For the extended suspension period of 10/1/2020 to 12/31/2020 - will those three months still count towards PSLF, IDR forgiveness, and rehabs as though payments were being made?
On Aug. 8, @realDonaldTrump directed @BetsyDeVosED to continue to suspend loan payments, stop collections, and waive interest on ED-held student loans until Dec. 31.
Today, @FAFSA confirmed the suspended payment months would count towards the borrower's 120 #PSLF count.
