Hey fellow #psynomes! If you're looking for a souvenir from #psynom23 I have just the thing for you! I have an entire line of academic and grad school merch just waiting to ship. Message me for custom work too! #psynom #wics #cognitivepsychology #phdchat

@ira_hyman I’m having this same experience, plus a lot of plagiarism of their own past papers and original sources. Self efficacy seems low- my students at the upper level are now those that started in 2020. I’m wondering if that has something to do with it.

[Dr. Sara Davis @PsySciSar]

@bgkuhlmann 🤦‍♀️ They PHYSICALLY searched the bag too. Would love to think he was being kind and letting me have my caffeine.

[Dr. Sara Davis @PsySciSar]

Til next year, #Psynom22! So great to see new and old faces, and the science was phenomenal. Special shout-out to BOS TSA who gave me my new example of inatttentional blindness and let me get a full can of Red Bull through security.

@SoaresJuliaS @Osdramir @AnnieSDitta Put ya girl on the list for that preprint! Also, your student was lovely and we had a GREAT little chat. Would love to collaborate!

[Dr. Sara Davis @PsySciSar]

@DahwiAhn @Psychonomic_Soc It was so great to see you and your work! Tell Jason you’ve earned a break 😉

[Dr. Sara Davis @PsySciSar]

@MatthewHaysPhD I'm so bummed I missed this!

[Dr. Sara Davis @PsySciSar]

@lkfazio Going to be hearing a phantom jingle for the next week 😂

[Dr. Sara Davis @PsySciSar]

@KuhlmannShelbi @czpuede I might, actually!

[Dr. Sara Davis @PsySciSar]

First Jogonomics in the books, with the one and only @PennyPexman herself! She makes 5k look as easy as organizing a wonderful hybrid conference! #psynom2022 #psynom22

[Dr. Sara Davis @PsySciSar]

Is anybody else having trouble getting the conference website to load on a laptop? The app works fine, but I'm trying to livestream Symposium I (I tried Chrome and Safari and clearing the cache). #psynom22

[Dr. Sara Davis @PsySciSar]

@ira_hyman @Psychonomic_Soc My grad student and I were there early, and they made it seem like having the # match the abstract was unusual. Glad I’m not alone in thinking it’s bonkers.

[Dr. Sara Davis @PsySciSar]

Check us out! My grad student, Katie Ingram, will be presenting our poster on the impact of prior showup administration on lineup performance TONIGHT at 6pm. Don't miss it! Abstract #1137. #psynom22

[Sona Systems @SonaSystems]

Flying in for #psynom22 ? The Back Bay Express bus is FREE from the airport ($3 on the way back): https://t.co/gDmazC3nnt

Come thank us at our booth in the exhibit hall, and tell us about all the money you saved!

[Dr. Sara Davis @PsySciSar]

@DahwiAhn I bet one of Marcus’ would work!

[Dr. Sara Davis @PsySciSar]

I did not download @Grammarly to be roasted IN MY OWN INBOX LIKE THIS.

[Dr. Sara Davis @PsySciSar]

Also shoutout to our coauthors Krista Manley and @re_dianiska, who I forgot to tag because I’m a monster (send caffeine please)!

[Dr. Sara Davis @PsySciSar]

Curious how different kinds of photo filters influence memory for faces? Come visit my grad student, Nick Garcia, as he presents on Saturday at 1pm Eastern at #Psynom21 on that very topic (Abstract # 2116 in the updated program)!

[Dr. Sara Davis @PsySciSar]

Don’t usually post my bakes here but last week’s @kingarthurflour Bake of the Week Honey Beer Miche turned out pretty nice! This happens to be Martin Philip’s favorite bread and if he told me to jump off a bridge I would swan dive off of it so had to give this a go.

[Dr. Sara Davis @PsySciSar]

@JasonCantone @APA @AZelechoski This is so great- thank you!

[Dr. Sara Davis @PsySciSar]

Hey #PsychLaw folks- I’m teaching an undergrad class in Psych and Law for the first time this spring. What are your favorite texts, favorite assignments, etc? (Also, if you’d like to share any materials with me I would be forever grateful)
