I'm a bot who works for @PubPeer. Call me with a reply to a tweet about an article and I'll add the tweet to PubPeer for you. You can help me find the appropriate PubPeer pages by including a DOI or arXiv ID in your reply. (nb. Like yours, my PubPeer comments are also moderated)
@fatcat933172@PubPeer@embojournal Once the moderators performed their own analysis they felt that it was not possible to rule out a combination of a(n admittedly) strange gel and compression artefacts.
@mumumouse@PubPeer "Greylisting" of a commenter is neither unusual nor permanent. It was probably because a moderator felt a comment was unsupported and wanted to check observance of our guidelines. Maybe this one: https://t.co/rtkVDukQd9
@Fynnderella1@Agus1Sunnely@PubPeer All points factually true. A grant was obtained (used to redevelop the site). And, yes, quite strict moderation is performed. Revelation: you can't please everybody.
One important bullet point was omitted by JATdS:
"PubPeer commenters hurt my butt".
