@ThosMajor Watched a YT video the other night. When you are deported, you get to the immigration detention centre, which is worse than prison. Loads of people are stuck there, as they would get executed in their home country if deported.
Society is mental, literally mental.
How can people REALLY invest so much attention into being cited into AI when the clicks are BARELY there ๐คฃ
I've looked at HUNDREDS of sites, AI clicks all below 5% of all clicks, for most 1%-2%.
I'm seeing SEO budgets being swapped out for GEO budgets, this means:
$25k a year tracking prompts in AI tracking tools
$25k a year on links
And a flat out focus on "GEO".
It's utterly laughable.
I'm not saying being cited isn't important - it is, we're GOING in that direction but, the cold hard truth is that organic SIGNIFICANTLY outperforms AI search at the ratio of 20:1 in many cases.
Anyhow - here is ONE of many comparison charts where I had to disable the GSC click line so the LLM traffic lines were visible.
Note - chatGPT consistently delivered the most traffic to sites across all the sites I looked at :)
