✨ Check out this mind-blowing work! ✨
Gurgen Aloian has unveiled a "fake" real-time collision system built entirely within Blender's Geometry Nodes! 🤯 It's not using traditional physics – instead, it's a custom, lightweight solver that runs interactively. Imagine the possibilities for animation and sculpting!
He's shared a detailed breakdown of how it works, and there's even a chance it could become a full release or tutorial soon! 👀
What do you think of this innovative approach to collisions in Blender? Let me know in the comments! 👇

Working on the new simulator. I just wanted to see what Atari2600 fetching data from ROM looks like at CMOS FET level

MIT just built an AI that can control your body.
It can move your fingers, make you play piano, even if you don’t know the song!
AI decides the hand movement. Wrist pads send signals to your muscles, so your fingers move even if you don’t know how
Are you ready for the humanoid surgeon?
UCSD researchers just published a new study in Nature yesterday showing the first in vivo test of humanoid robots in surgery: teleoperated humanoids successfully did laparoscopic cholecystectomy on live pigs.
The team built a humanoid teleoperation setup using standard surgical instruments. They tested it from benchtop checks and dry-lab trials with surgeons of different experience levels all the way to full live procedures--including human-robot and robot-robot team modes.
This really highlights a big plus of the humanoid form: it can move freely and work naturally in regular operating rooms, using both arms and existing tools. A different vibe from those specialized cart-based systems like da Vinci.

Elon predicts Optimus will outperform top surgeons in about 3 years, with more high-performing Optimus surgical robots than all human surgeons by 2030.
HOLY FUCKING SHIT WHAT
what
whatt???? we have been trying to get models to 3d model all wrong... this is 100% hand placed vertices by Fable... no procedural techniques, no Bezier patches, no loft modeling - nothing ... this is the best representation of a human I have EVER seen any LLM create from scratch without visual references.... this is just IN Fable's 3d worldmodeling
@SkyeSharkie This barely makes any sense; in what data set would Raw Vertex even exist?(Unless they de-composed literal 3D files?)
Could you run this test again, but only on the head?(how high resolution can it go?)
Wow, this is insane — a 500°C heat test 🔥🔥🔥
A quadruped robot just entered an extreme high-temperature trial.
WuBa’s Tianlang Q25 showed off its heat resistance: 300°C for 40 minutes in a sealed chamber, and 500°C for 2 minutes right next to an open flame.
Still running steady. Still agile.
This is where robots start to matter — going where humans can’t easily go.
