Four years ago a group of ragtag retail investors shocked the world.
When the media screamed "Forget GameStop", a select few maintained their grip on the pen that would etch their names into the lore of modern day revolutionary history.
This is their story.
This...is The Bear Trap.
WHY $GME IS THE HARDEST STOCK IN THE MARKET TO PRICE
Over the last several years, Gamestop's image has changed drastically. At first, it was this little video game retailer that we all had done memories of trading in our PS2 for $13 and a half eaten cheeseburger. Than it became this short squeeze, meme stock, retail beloved company that everyone fell in love with because of the message that was being sent to Wall street and it's victims
Since than, GameStop has been forgotten. People moved on from the short squeeze and simply started chasing the next great opportunity out there. During this time however, GameStop has gone through some BIG transformations that I think, once again, wall street is wildly underestimating
GameStop through the first 3 years post squeeze has steadied the ship. They didn't make much, nor did they lose much. They just sat a float with a billion dollars in cash and worked on righting the ship.
In 2024 there was a secondary squeeze that transpired and with that squeeze, we saw @RyanCohen take advantage of the movement choosing to dilute the stock at the highs TWICE raising several billion more dollars in capital for the business ultimately coming to a close around $4.5-5 BILLION dollars of cash with no debt
Over the last year and a half, we have witnessed GameStop and Ryan exchange large sums of money for bonds and notes at a 0% interest rate, adding to Gamestops very large cash pile with relatively limited debt now of about $2 billion. However, recently, Ryan did something that now has all eyes and ears of those laying attention
Ryan, just last week, decided that instead of further dilution that he would in fact pay out the equity conversion, closing the window early and ending the dilution spree
**Ryan, just last week, made his first warning shot and no one even noticed**
Ryan actively chose to dilute the stock for 2.5 years and just last week chose to STOP dilution and STOP raising cash. WHY????
The market has NO IDEA how to price GameStop. Here's why
The bet isn't on the business. I know above I've described in great detail the events that led to today and how those details describe everything specifically about the business, but the bet isn't on legacy. THE BET IS ON RYAN COHEN AND THE GAMESTOP TEAM
Ryan has proven with his words and his actions that he is deadly serious about not only GameStop becoming the next tech giant, but he's very serious about his willingness to go after ANY beaten down, poorly run, hollow men companies that are being run by folks with little to no personal cash in the companies they own
The bet on GameStop is the hardest to price in the world because you're not betting on financials. You're not betting on P/E ratios and TTM and free cash flow. That's all good and dandy, but GameStop has all those things mostly stabilized, though, they will never achieve top 100 company in America status by selling Pikachu's and Switch 2's and Ryan KNOWS THIS
The bet on GameStop is now "what is that guy capable of?" How do you price someone or something you simply don't understand because you've spent the last 5 years mocking him or assuming he was stupidly lucky? I'm not sure that it's possible to ever price that equity correctly until we see the TANGIBLE RESULTS. Not financial results, but MEANINGFUL and IMPACTFUL moves that push the company into new industry's and opportunities
As of today, September 5th 2026, GameStop continues to be the hardest asset in the world to price correctly but it's simply because the investing world fails to understand 1 thing;
Ryan Cohen is going to finish what he started
This particular year end could be the greatest opportunity he may ever have to make it happen as GameStop is about to enter a massive "console cycle" that is almost surely going to have a large impact on Gamestops bottom line
GTA 6 release is going to be the single biggest video game release in history. While digital up to this point so far, the number of plays that are going to look to upgrade their consoles to play the next game will be wild. We've already seen PS5 Pros across the country being sold out! This speaks to the demand for an even better console and the possibility of GameStop seeing not just refurbished unit and trade in sales increase, but brand new consoles selling our equally as fast.
Furthermore, the legend of Zelda ocarina of time is widely considered the best video game in history. This is the first SIGNFICANT remake of Zelda since the Nintendo 3DS. Not only that but it appears as though Nintendo will have its own Direct presentation (for first time in history with Zelda) AND there is also going to be exclusive consoles (switch 2 custom design) and exclusive hardware such as controllers
GameStop is going into its final 2 quarters of the year which are widely considered it's best 2 quarters and in those q3 and Q4 earnings will be a massive console cycle, 2 massive gaming releases and people eager to BUY BUY BUY
How GameStop and @ryancohen choose to leverage this, we obviously don't know but GameStop has uniquely positioned itself to not only take advantage of this massive potential, but it has set itself up to have its best year in company history of 20+ years
The bet is no longer on GameStop
The bet is on Ryan Cohen and what he's going to transform GameStop into
With the army he's built, the person he is, and the backing he has?
I think Ryan is building the Next Berkshire Hathaway rival while ensuring the legacy and core business will remain stable forever. eBay is the first step in that direction as Ryan Cohen "insurance" company, similar to Buffett back in the early days of Berkshires launch. A business that generates endless income that can be used to reinvest into new opportunities
Ryan is gunning for every Hollow Man out there on Wall Street
Don't underestimate a man driven by resentment and backed by retards like myself
So I wanna make sure I have this right
$AMC tokens have been trading in Robinhood since July 1st of this year
@ceoadam is only just NOW making a mention that his stock is being sold on a 3rd party platform as a token
And this guy RUNS AMC?????
IT TOOK YOU OVER A MONTH GUY
You're the CEO of the company! How can you NOT know this is happening?
The next great wave of entrepreneurship may not begin with an idea. It may begin with an acquisition.
For the past two decades, we have glorified one version of entrepreneurship:
Start from zero.
Raise venture capital.
Burn cash.
Chase hypergrowth.
Hope the company survives.
But a historic opportunity is emerging in the opposite direction.
McKinsey estimates that by 2035, around six million US small and medium-sized businesses will face an ownership transition as their owners retire. More than one million are viable candidates for sale, representing up to $5 trillion in enterprise value.
Yet in 2022, 92% of SMB exits happened through closure. Only 5% were sales and 3% were ownership transfers.
This is not creative destruction.
It is a succession failure.
Many of these companies already possess what founders spend years trying to build:
Paying customers.
Trained employees.
Supplier relationships.
Cash flow.
Reputation.
Community trust.
Entrepreneurship through acquisition—ETA—offers a different path.
Not zero-to-one.
But one-to-ten.
A capable entrepreneur acquires a viable business, protects what made it successful and builds its next chapter through better leadership, technology, distribution and capital allocation.
Nearly 80% of projected exits are expected to involve businesses valued below $2 million.
These companies are often too small for traditional private equity, but large enough to provide meaningful employment, generate durable cash flow and become platforms for long-term wealth creation.
The AI era makes this opportunity even more powerful.
The biggest ETA opportunity may not be buying software companies.
It may be acquiring manufacturers, logistics companies, healthcare practices, maintenance businesses, construction trades and professional-service firms—and giving them a modern operating system.
AI can improve pricing, sales, scheduling, procurement, reporting, compliance, customer service and decision-making.
A company built over 30 years does not need to lose its identity to become significantly more productive.
And AI does not remove the need for operators.
It increases their leverage.
But ETA must not become private equity in miniature.
The best acquirer is not merely a financial buyer.
The best acquirer is a steward: someone who respects the founder’s legacy, retains the workforce, protects customer trust and grows the company for another generation.
For investors, this could also become an important real-economy asset class.
Family offices, banks and private-credit providers can back talented operators, combine acquisition equity with seller financing, and provide shared technology and operational support across multiple businesses.
To unlock the opportunity, however, we need more than search funds.
We need acquisition education, transparent marketplaces, standardized diligence, flexible financing, properly structured seller participation and real post-acquisition support.
We built an enormous ecosystem to help people start companies.
Now we need an equally strong ecosystem to help good companies survive, transfer and compound.
McKinsey estimates that a functioning ownership-transition market could preserve up to 12 million jobs and protect approximately $250 billion in annual local spending power.
This is bigger than M&A.
It is a new pathway to ownership, financial freedom and economic mobility.
The next great entrepreneur may not start from zero.
They may acquire a great foundation—and build its next chapter.
